And it took us 19 pages to work this out?

Surely the best way of looking at this thread, is as a very specific "What are you thinking" thread?

I'm really looking forward to it getting colder. My new fur hat arrived yesterday and it keeps my head super duper warm

First heavy frost of the year - almost noon and still no sign of it shifting. Very cold today.

Fuck it's cold today. Cycled to work sans gloves today as I forgot to dry them after washing them yesterday so my hands were freezing by the time I got here. I also forgot to bring my fleece that I usually wear at work meaning my nipples are dangerously close to puncturing my shirt.

Apparently I might be quite heavily snowed in over Christmas... the only day I'm supposed to be in work from the 20th to the 30th is the 28th... this may have its advantages...

We look surprisingly snow free at the moment. Fingers crossed it stays that way, although the  predictions forecasts can change with barely an hours notice I've found.

It's actually trying to snow outside. Not predicted for here at all of course - but it's too light to go anywhere I think (hope!)

It was 32 degrees celsius on Christmas Day here.

Only 17 degrees now. A little windy. Just finished drizzling.

Thanks heavens I wasn't there on Xmas Day. Far too hot.

17 still sounds too high as well

Perfection is about 10-12, or 15-16 with a light breeze.

Not only an enemy of film, but an enemy of reasonable weather conditions, huh

32 degress isn't a reasonable weather condition

Do you have snowy winters where you are? We were always getting contract staff from South Africa and Australia who never seemed to have seen any before but I assume at least some of NZ must see some?

32 degrees is perfect beach weather. Would've gone down to it on Chrimbus Day but our local river is the most polluted in the country.

We don't have snowy winters in the North Island much (though they've started to creep last couple of years) but the place where I'm moving in January for a two year gig as a research counsel with the district courts is notorious for shit weather and snowy winters. Fun.

Is that part of a traineeship on the way to full blown lawyer, or some kind of pupillage pre-bar exams? Or does that all come within your degree? (I only have a vague knowledge of the UK system from considering it years ago but it wasn't really an option for anyone without money behind them).

Have to agree with that 32 degrees is just perfect!

It's a straight-up internship with the courts - not tied to any educational process. The plan is to do it for two years, get some judges as references on my CV, do my legal professionals course (takes 13 weeks) and transition into practice after passing the bar.

Presently still snowing heavily and it should carry on until 3 a.m. I get the impression the drive in tomorrow is going to be nasty as it should also get down to -3 later in the night. The five day forecast does not predict it getting above freezing with the average being -1c with freezing fog to add to the mix on Wednesday.

The thing is I like the stuff when I don#t have to go anywhere which is why I went for a walk this evening but the next few days at work is going to be unpleasant.

Nothing here

We never get any decent snow coverage in London and when we do get quarter of a centimetre everything shuts down!

I left work at 3:30 p.m. for my usual ten mile drive home. I arrived home 15 minutes ago.

The snow was pretty heavy at lunch time. Two inches in less than an hour (most whilst I was out for a lunchtime walk where I looked like the snowman).

Not pleasant.
