Here's a little film with a solid cast that I've just heard of - Soldiers of Fortune!

It tells the tale of wealthy thrill-seekers pay huge premiums to have themselves inserted into military adventures, only this time things don't go exactly to plan.

The cast involves Sean Bean, Christian Slater, Dominic Monaghan, Ving Rhames, James Cromwell, Colm Meaney and Freddy Rodriguez. Looks like it could be quite fun.

Um.... I'm getting my Sean Bean films mixed up. This isn't the same as Age of Heroes is it? About the formation of the Special Forces? Because that's going straight to DVD....

You're confusing me Timon!

There's Age of Heroes and Soldiers Of Fortune that both star The Bean. As far as I'm aware Age of Heroes is being shown in cinemas from 20th May and unfortunately also stars Danny Dyer.

Soldiers Of Fortune doesn't seem to have a solid release date yet but looks pretty fun....

He's still leader in that field my a mile. By now he's got to have overtaken Harry Dean Stanton, Bill Paxton and Chalres Martin Smith in the all-time appearance/death scene ratio rankings.
