What the hell is this!

I know! I think it's the 'regeneration' suit from the second half of the Smith script.

It is indeed a regeneration suit not the actual Superman suit as such. I personally like a lot of these concepts! :)

There is a KickStarter project that is aiming to make a documentary which would tell the story of the proposed 1998 "Superman Lives" feature film!

"The Death of “Superman Lives”: What Happened? is a Feature Length Documentary about the unmade movie "Superman Lives". This film, out of all the various attempts to make a Superman movie between 1987 and 2006, would have stood the test of time and become a bonafide Cult Classic nowadays. I am not alone with my intense interest in knowing everything I can about this project, and so now I'm embarking on making a Documentary that will cover everything ever made for this film, from interviewing as many people as I can who were involved, to including actually recreating scenes from the script!!!"

The artwork featured in the trailer alone staggers my mind!

Give generously!

I would have loved to see Tim Burtons take on Superman and it certainly would have been refreshingly different.
Twisted,Dark/Gothic with a touch of Giger-esq mechanical visuals,if only.

I might donate a few bucks.
