I had a rant about them pulling this before, aparently it was about ratings - but this is 5*, what numbers were they hoping for exactly? Maybe they think giving it a 'Doctors' timeslot will get a certain following - I say give it to another channel who'll show it some respect. It's coming up to it's 4th season in the states now, so there's plenty more to air this side of the pond. Thank god for Sky+.

It pisses me off that they're going to be showing it daily.

They're starting (sensibly I guess) from ep1 next Monday. I'm looking at the daily showing as a positive thing, despite the damage it'll do to my hard drive space, as this way we can get closer to where the states are with this. That's assuming 5* will continuing airing it of course..

From what I've gathered it seems channel 4 have been forced to drop the second run rights for True Blood which Sky now owns. FX will be showing True Blood first but because they dont have to wait for C4 to show it they can air it earlier this year around autumn.
If this is true then its bad news for those waiting to watch the show on channel 4

Channel 4 normally airs the majority of their shows in January so that they can avoid the mid-season breaks and air the episodes without much stoppage. So I guess we're all pretty pissed that even though they started New Girl in January they still decided to intervene and create a huge break for the show, to the point that the season has ended in the States and they still havent resumed it here. If this is how channel 4 are treating the show its no surprise that fans would have either gone to torrents or streaming services to watch this show; and it'd be embarassing for C4 if the return of New Girl doesnt rake in the ratings that they were hoping for.

The reason they gave for taking it off the air in the first place was so they could make room for more E4 programming. Since then we have seen the airing of Revenge and Don't trust the b---- in apartment 23 but was it really nesscary to take one show off the air and then start new ones. If anything they are just pissing off the true fans of the show who wont be pleased having to wait 4-3 months for their show to return back.

This year c4 bought the rights for Allen Gregory and Napoleon Dynamite but stuck them on some midnight death slot on Tuesday nights; granted that those shows have been cancelled in the US and probably wont that good but they continue to do this with Bob's Burgers which is currently on its second season and has been renewed for a third. I wasnt even aware that the show was back there werent any adverts and of course its very difficult to find it in that timeslot.

It's probably already been mentioned but True Blood: Season 5 airs on FXUK this October.

Anyone know when SKY Atlantic will be showing Nurse Jackie: Season 4? I'm hoping after the end of the current repeat of S3 but who knows! Anyone!?

it was a mistake to launch 'new girl' on c4 to begin with.

e4/more4 now the home for US drama.

Yes, WTF is that about? They've been advertising Modern Family fairly heavily for ages & showing it in primetime. Now two thirds of the way through the season they decide that repeats of Nothing to Declare are a better bet in the 8pm slot?

I'd guess they'll cut them to shreds for the early timeslot too.

Whitney Season 1 - Tuesday 3rd July on Comedy Central at 9pm

From Whitney Cummings co-creator of 2 Broke Girls and star of this show; I've seen the first 2 episodes back last year and this show isnt very good although people who like 2BG should give it a chance.

Not according to Mondays schedule on E4.
