WOW!

Just caught up with the latest three episodes before next weeks season finale. This show really has improved in quality considerably over the course of the two seasons. We're getting lots of answers now and the plot seems to be thundering along at a fair pace, people dying left right and centre.

Love this show, probably one of the best shows on TV right now.

I thought the second of the double bill this week was the finale? Isn't next weeks a Christmas special?

The ending was certainly end of season stuff (I suspect the christmas one will be set prior to last weeks events) and S3 can't come soon enough.

Although it does make me titter to see Edge listed in the credits as "WWE Superstar Edge"

You're probably right actually, it did feel like season finale material. The Mrs even turned to me at one point and asked if this was the last episode of the series but as there is one on next week I assumed it wasn't.

Still, fantastic stuff and can't wait for Season 3!

) Now we are all up to the same place I thought I'd post them here.

When did Nathan get the tattoo?
Who is Audrey really and whose wedding ring is? I have a theory it's Vincent's.
Who's got Audrey?
Who got shot?
Why was it so significant the Duke cut Dwight? Does that take away the curse as well?
What happened to Dwight's daughter?
What are Dave and Vincent hiding?
Why are they divided?

I don't watch Haven (not sure why I'm here, actually) but I assume its Christmas special will be a separate story like the Warehouse 13 Christmas specials. Not even sure if they are 'canon' as events in the W13 specials are never mentioned again.

The main question is, why the hell has Edge cut off all his hair?!

Seriously though I was struggling to keep up with the first episode because I'd forgotten a lot of what went on last season.

Looks like this season is going to be spent trying to find the Colorado kid before 'The Hunter' who I'm going to hazard a guess was the person who kidnapped Audrey.

Well seems I was wrong about 'The Hunter'

This season seems to be a lot 'darker' than the previous two seasons. Still really enjoying this. Think I might be the only person watching it though....

Just a little!

Have to say I wasn't expecting that at all. We knew he was a bit crooked and someone was after him but it never crossed my mind for a second that he was the killer. The only black guy in Haven and he's a serial killer, nice.

I thought the Nathan shooting was lazy writing in all honesty and I didn't care for it at all considering there's someone out there (in that very episode) that can bring people back from the dead. It would have been better to find that out after Nathan had been shot (and used a different storyline in this episode), that would have made it more real and more of a surprise when he comes back.

Still, much improved last 15minutes of this episode.

There was a sense of anti-climax about that. Is there anyone watching that didn't simply think "Yeah, but that woman will revive him"?

Although there's always the chance that this is just what they want us to think...

Really enjoyed the time-travel episode although you just knew that what happened had happened because they always got sent back. Also, Sarah is much hotter than Audrey, go figure?!

Also, the dude who was Sarahs Army superior was also Audreys FBI 'Boss'. He doesn't seem to have aged either. Interesting.

I was thinking the exact same thing

It is one of those shows where they always seem to bring out something to keep you watching. The FBI guy at the end was one of those WTF moments.

Just hope it gets a 4th series, as there are too many questions now!

It has apparently been renewed for 13 episodes. It appears it is a show which is increasing in viewers with each season rather than dropping them, which is a rare thing.

That's good to know, especially with another twist thrown in at the end of this weeks episode!

Was half expecting, after the "empty tank" followed by Nathan doing his Basil Exposition bit (looking shifty while he said it) for it to turn out to be Nathan.

Given that there are only a few episodes left in Season 3, I'm guessing (and hoping) that there may well be a "WTF" rug pulling moment to end this season.

The last half of this season has really picked up. Great stuff. The last episode was fantastic. So, whoevers skin the killer is wearing must be dead. I can't see it being Nathan or Duke. Surely if the person is dead and the killer is wearing their skin then they no longer have their trouble. If the killer was wearing Nathans skin then he would be able to feel pain (especially when touched by the guard lady who's name escapes me). I fully expect it to be someone that isn't troubled like the shrink or one of the two newspaper guys.

Apparently it's not back in the US till 17th Jan.

The show's improved during it's 3rd season, before there was a significant gap in quality between the stories that focused on the mythology and the standalone, trouble of the week episodes which were frequently daft (without the charm and quality of something like Fringe or Buffy) and terribly acted. It's good to see Haven playing more to it's strengths, structuring episodes around the main core of characters and enhancing the small town creepiness that it does well.

Well! That was some season finale! Absolutely crazy ending! I have no idea what's going to happen next season but I'm looking forward to it! Was astounded by the fact Vince was the head of the guard, never saw that coming at all. I always had Dave as the bad brother and Vince as the good brother so to speak.

Really loving Haven. Cracking show, more people should watch it.
