FBI agent Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) arrives in a small town in Maine to investigate a murder in this series loosely based on the Stephen King novella, "The Colorado Kid."

As far as I'm aware this has received mixed reviews in the states but I think I'm willing to give it a go. Starts tomorrow night at 10pm on Syfy. Hopefully with a bit of luck I'll stick with this longer than it's Syfy stablemate 'Warehouse 13'. Anyone else joining me on the journey?

For a minute I was thinking that this was clashing with southland and human target but southland seems to have ended so will probably record this.

Have heard mixed reports edging towards the unfavourable for it though.

Yesterday Syfy renewed Haven for a second season which will be airing in 2011.

The show might be decent but I wont be tuning in.

I liked it, just the right bit of mystery to keep me watching to see where it goes.

Cant watch Emily Rose without remebering Elena Fisher from Uncharted, on the other hand completely forgot who Nicole de Boer was, until I saw her. Despite being a fan of The Dead Zone!!

I quite enjoyed the first episode as well. There's enough there to keep me interested enough to see how it goes. Especially the mystery concerning the old photo...

Is anyone still watching this? I'm not sure how many episodes in we are now but I watched four back to back last night and have to say I'm still really enjoying it. My only critism would be that it's too much 'mystery of the week' and not enough of the overall 'troubles' and 'photo' storyline arc. In the four I watched last night there were a few mentions of both but nothing that moved the plot forward.

I love watching Haven, because of the fact that it's different than all the other sci fi/ supernatural shows with the mystery of the colorado kid, that keeps you intrigued but when something is found out in the show it's interesting not mind numbing like lost, the event or flashforward that are just questions with more questions and no answers.

Going by last nights episode there is now a direction for the show, but with only 2 more episodes left, which may carry on into season 2.

What did people think of the finale?

I thought it was great, bringing up a lot more questions for season 2 and I liked the Shawshank nod.

Finally got around to seeing the final two episodes last night and I have to say I'm very impressed. I thought they were fantastic and they've set up Season Two really well. I'm really enjoying this and looking forward to more...

Season two is back in the US on July 15th, hope we don't have to wait too much longer for it over here.Also...

I watched the first episode of Haven on Syfy today. I initially made my mind up that I didnt want to watch this show because I didnt like the 4 episodes I watched of Eureka and seeing as this is another show from Syfy I thought that maybe this will be more of the same style.
The first episode although decent enough did not entice me to watch the second, although I do have that recorded as I still havent completely made my mind up yet. Hearing that it's more or less mystery of the week material has discouraged me slightly.

Hopefully it won't be too long until Season two starts on Syfy, I'm actually really looking forward to catching up with this, seems to have had steady ratings in the US as well so far. Certainly not a drop in numbers from Season One.

Dammit it clashes with two other things I record while at work, hope they repeat it later in the week as the last season cliff hanger was brilliant.

Might wind up giving this a miss... didn't mind the 1st series, but wasn't overly amazed... was ok, and with a huge number of shows on at the moment and starting work soon, it'll have to be one of the shows I miss out on, just can't watch everything

I guess I could try, I just know though I'll struggle to find the time... at least it's on a night where not much else is on

I don't think there's that many episodes per season either is there? 10/12? Not a huge commitment just to see how it fares....

Looking forward to this as the end of Season One was very good...

Caught up with the first three episodes of the season and have to say it's great. Just the right amount of breadcrumbs to keep me suitably interested. Very intriguing. It certainly seems to have upped it's game this season, as good as the first season was.

For the benefit of those with flash photography, former WWE Rated R Superstar Edge is in this weeks episode!

My missus enjoyed this fact!

Is Dwight going to be a reoccuring character or was this just a one off cameo? I thought his acting was pretty good. The episode was also another good one. The ending was a little spooky. Really enjoying this series.

Does anyone else think that the fact that Duke is trying so hard to find out about the tattooed man that's going to kill him is exactly why he's going to get killed? If he never knew he'd never have taken this path....

Also it was interesting to see a few weeks ago that Dave most feared Lucy

Dwight is a reoccurring character.

Wow. This show is going from strength to strength. This season has been fantastic so far, they've really stepped it up after a solid first season.

Last weeks episode (with the fish people) was especially good, this weeks just kept the suspense going. It might not look like a show with an intricate plot on the surface but if you dig a little deeper than the 'mystery of the week' plot then you can see numerous plotlines and mysterys. The Rev and Dukes Wife, Audrey & Nathan's love, Audrey and Duke's love, Audrey and the popular guys love (Is there a pattern here?), The bogus agent, Audreys memorys, Lucy, Dave & Lucys past, The Chiefs secrets, The Troubles. Incredibly complexed yet so simple. An underwatched gem.....

Couldn't agree more.

And it's been renewed as well

Yup. I was going to reply along the lines of how good it was and that no doubt it would be cancelled soon.   So I did a quick check just to make sure it hadn't been, and discovered season 3 got the green light last month.

Almost (but not quite) restores my faith in the US networks
