No, sad is paranoia and ridiculous conspiracy theories.

If you moved into others parts of the site, particularly Empire Online, you might have become aware that we are suffering a spamming problem at the moment. With up to 60 posts at a time we have to use the 'delete all' function. That can mean some posts get deleted with it, particularly if you've posted from the main site and/or you're used the reply button in the spammers post.

The best way to avoid that is to post in the forum, not on the main site, and be careful which post you 'reply' to.

I'm afraid we have no tools to stop the spammers. They use few IPs, and only they use them, so they could be blocked, but we don't have the functionality to do it.

Yeah, the accents are an issue, a rather big issue, but if I can grapple with that this should be good.
