Whilst it doesn't worry me massively that Greengrass isn't directing it (if everyone else is on board).... what does worry me is why isn't Greengrass directing it? Is it the story that he doesn't like? Does he feel that it has a negative effect on the other two??

I really liked all three of the Bourne films and felt that they ended on a high and with everything wrapped up. I worry that they've just slapped a generic plot on to the franchise to make a quick buck

The third wrapped up the story brilliantly.

But, then again, this could rock massively....!

3 excellent movies and now a 4th?
It would need a lot of Robert Ludlumís depth and knowledge and Matt Damon. But Greengrass was excellent and directed in such a way that Bond movies were at long last starting to take shape.

I'm not holding my breath for this one...

Eh?

Other than the titles, the first 3 Bourne films had very very little in common with Ludlum's novels. Also, Ludlum didn't write the 4th novel.

And Bond??

But yes - Damon is essential.
