Can't see Europe romping it. Can see the US romping it. If Europe win it'll be in a manner that leaves me very drunk, nailless and a gibbering wreck.

I'm blitzed, going slightly mad and typing with stumps.

That was beautiful. When Ollie was struggling to keep it together I shed a tear.

Not been this hyped after a sportsing event since Bolt's Beijing 100m.

So much more the sweeter after the dispicable, disgraceful and class-free behaviour shown by the yankee crowd.

IN YOUR FACE AMERICA!!!

Still shaking. Fucking unbelievable. Nerves of steel. So proud of our guys.

However, apart from Jim Furyk (who I don't really like) the American players are total stars, gentlemen, summed up by Mickelson giving Rose the thumbs up after his 30 foot putt.
"I thought you liked Bubba Watson" said my wife.
"Not when he's a fucking American" I replied.
The wife isn't really a golf fan, but at the start of the day at 10-6, I tried to explain it was like (in football terms) being 3-0 down to Germany with 2 minutes to go. Not impossible but pretty inplausible. But we did it. Amazing.

Un-f*cking-believable.

2 main things to take away from this for me;

Poulter is a Ryder Cup beast and Phil Mickelson is utter utter class.

due in part to being knackered from sitting up late to watch the golf, I turned up to a meeting with minutes to spare this morning to disapproving looks. Knowing some of the powers-that-be present to be golf fans, I salvaged the situation with a reference to feeling like Rory McIlory, noting that I wasn't rich enough to afford a police escort, but at least my accent wasn't stupid. Powers-that-be duly impressed and all bad feeling forgotten, non-golf fans at meeting duly perplexed. Sport. Covering asses since 1788.

Missed it all, by being away. Travelling overnight gave them no chance so amazed when I picked up the news this morning.

One of the best competitions in the world. Its a shame some of the supporters make it nigh on unwatchable at times.

What a comeback, I'm regret missing it as I haven't been watching golf nor the last two Ryder Cups as I fell out of liking it these last few years, but that victory seemed so much sweeter annihilating the arrogant sods on the last day in their own back yard

Caught the highlights of the last day. And even though I knew the outcome it was still tense.

Full marks to Mickelson for applauding some great putting from Rose. I guess when such a lead goes there are many places the game is won and lost, but Garcia must have had the spirit of Seve out on course to win that match. Kaymer showed amazing bottle at the end. Amazing stuff.

Sky Sports 3 currently replaying the entire Singles coverage.

Finishes at midnight so the best bits lie ahead.

Yeah I noticed that - but they were showing the entire day! Caught highlights on Sky Anytime. Amazing comeback as America at 10-6 were up in four of the pairings as well.
