Is he allowed? If so, that opens my list right up.

It never occurred to me he wouldn't be - if Homer Simpson is a valid entry, doesn't that open up all cartoon characters?

I would have thought they'd be film characters rather than TV. But does this mean I can have Tom and Jerry, Donald Duck, et al?

They originated on TV though so I'd class them as TV characters not film characters.

I kind of see Gimli's point - originally they'd have been shorts at the cinema not TV. But when anyone on here grew up, we only ever saw them as TV. I hadn't thought of it like that.

I do see them as TV now, though. Although not Donald Duck - the Disney ones aren't really the same, I think, as Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies etc?

Cartoon characters are allowed. I don't think it will make much of a difference to the overall standing.

There are obviously a lot missing from Deadwood (Jane, Doc et al) and I, Claudius and I also tried to limit the number of West Wing and Galactica cast members

Tv Series and Mini-Series (Screen Play/Screen Two) are allowed but TV Movies (i.e Made In Britain/Scum) aren't.

Although, presumably, you could go for the original Play for Today for Scum?

Yeah, I'd have to argue that Made in Britain was part of a 4 part series entitled Tales Out of School, written by David Leland ( including the excellent RHINO ) and screened on ITV on Sunday nights.
Are you sure it doesn't count ?

Yeah, I'd have to argue that Made in Britain was part of a 4 part series entitled Tales Out of School, written by David Leland ( including the excellent RHINO ) and screened on ITV on Sunday nights.
Are you sure it doesn't count ?

I didn't realise that they were both part of a series (it's a little before my time) but that does seem to be the case. They seem to be the standouts tv plays from a relative series so I think they should be allowed. Wikipedia was my friend here!
