 Nicholas Meyer, director of Star Trek 2 said once that there are two types off actors, those who can play anything, and those who are good at playing themselves.

William Shatner is an example of that.No one plays the Shat like the Shat! Thats not necessarily a criticism, in fact, its a compliment ! No wonder Chris Pine didnt even attempt at imitating Shatner in the new Star Trek, it just wouldnt work.

I can't lie, we're not blood-related (you ever see Spaceballs? It's a bit like the "I'm your brother's cousin's roommate..." bit ), but he's my aunt's cousin's son. I've never met him, but my father has on a few occasions and he's a very nice and humble chap by all accounts. So not a scumbag...(and see link on previous page for further proof of that).

I'm also distantly related to Neil Lennon through my mother-in-law's family. /shamelessnamedrop

That expression always makes me laugh. I'd have a pint with anyone.
I've always thought he came across as a decent guy. A bit of a hellraising piss-head, but it's better than the typical Prius driving, lentil-eating tee-total Hollywood types.
