Hell yeah. That guy's work in the previous Hitman games was a major part of their appeal. His freedom Fighters soundtrack is remarkable too.

Anyway, hope they don't mess with the formula and/or introduce pointless MP. Just keep it good, clean, nasty entertainment where you can kill people in a variety of ways, with some awesome Kyd on top, next gen visuals and you've got yourself a winner.

I'm super pumped.

IO Have said they're making Absolution more accessible and that the previous games only appealed to the hardcore...

Im fine with that statement. If your selling a game it should be accessible to everyone as long as they still cater to the hardcore I'll be happy.

I suppose there's a first time for everything. Every time I've heard that kind of statement before it means they've turned the game into a dumbed down piece of crap.

 I'm a little worried about this after reading Scabby's thoughts on the home page. It does sound dumbed down.

I hope they haven't turned it into a big action game. I like to take my time with these games and do things slow and stealthily. I always thought of it as a failure if you had to pull out your guns and start blasting.

The graphics look really good on that. It just needs to have a hard 'hard mode', multiple completion techniques and some lovely stealth and I'll be happy.

That video has just put me right off the game, Agent 47 doesn't use human shields infront of a load of guards. He has set objectives and you have to complete them as efficiently as possible without trying to leave a trace. Being on the run would just take away from that, your objective would just be "escape" everytime.

That was less Hitman, more Splinter Cell Conviction.

That was the best 90 seconds they could muster?

Completely underwhelming.

It's not like I've snucked up on somebody and taken them down or used them as body shield ONE MILLION TIMES in Splinter Cell already.

How about showing us something that makes this game unique?

When I think about Hitman I think about knocking out a waiter otuside a party, taking his clothes, posing as th waiter, then poisoning the drink of a VIP, then following him into a toiler, waiting for him to pass out and then taking his clothes and key, going up to his room, taking secret files, getting caught by a woman, knocking her out, taking her clothes, posing as her, returning to the part, seducing some rich guy to take me away in his car, then knocking him out and taking his car. And clothes.

Now that's a game.

 My first thoughts on seeing it was that it looked very Splinter Cell-y. However rather than call judgement yet Im waiting to see what more info we get. Im sure there will be plenty of hits to do (it being Hitman). I remember the demo for the last Hitman game was pretty crappy and didnt come close to showing how good the full game was.

From what Ive read most people who played the game have come away extremely impressed.
