Just finished having a read of 'Stoker' which was written by none other than Wentworth Miller. First things first, the guy can write. Seriously. No wonder I think this thing sold. He crafts out a tale which someone like Burton or Jackson would have a field day with. The characters and dialogue are very strong as is the plot. Basically a girl's father dies and said fathers elusive brother, 'Uncle Charlie' returns from the wilderness so to speak after nay a word for over thiry years. Then things start to get interesting. It's basically a mystery/thriller but has the feel of a great gothic flick. Can't go into the detail as to spoil it would ruin what will make a great film but surface to say the question asked is 'Who is Uncle Charlie and what's his agenda' and the results are some dark shit. Keep an eye out for this one in the future!

Films I've watched

Iron Man 3 *****
Evil Dead (2013) ***
