 This could be epic. Kick Ass is definitely one of my favourite movies of the last three years, and I'm itching to see what is made of Hit Girl now.

But the fact that Vaughn isn't directing puts me off, as the only decent thing Wadlow has ever done is Never Back Down - and that was pretty shite in my estimation.

Although the fact that Moretz is in talks to return is promising...

 Im feeling a slight scepticism.. Vaughn and Millar are buddies. The comic and movie were a paralell project.

Yeah, I thought that the first left an opening at the end for a sequel. I was under the impression that the sequel was going to focus on Red Mist, or so I heard/read (can't remember) originally. I'm all for a sequel as long as it doesn't suck and stays true to the original with decent storyline. But thinking on those lines, are they going to bring Nick Cage back as Big Daddy in the sequel (even though his character died in the original anything's possible in movie-land). I think that his character was quite funny in the original. But yeah, I agree with Vad3r, the KickAss character more like Sucked Ass. I think that actor will turn out to be as talented as Hayden Christiansen. Peace.

 I just remembered that this is released on June 28th. This puts me in a dilemma, as usually when a film is released I go to see it the day after. The day after this movie is released is my birthday... so now I'm worried about "what if it turns out to be shit?". Watching a shit sequel to a film I'm a fan of doesn't sound like the ideal birthday to me.
