Forteantimes did an excellent article on Roswell a few months back. It's a shame they never publish the article onto their website.

End of the day it's their opinion but they do investigate and do research.

In the recent years I had a hard time accepting the crashed object was an alien Spacecraft for two reasons. The first is the timing of the events and more important what been said or leaked from the US airforce since.

Forteantimes did an artilce about how the Roswell story evolved over the years. After the 1947 sightings of V shaped aircrafts flying in a formation, a radio show offered a prize to anyone discovering a crashed UFO. Shortly after a farmer discovers debris on his farm and wanted it to be a flying saucer to claim his prize. That is the true Roswell story.

One theory from the MOD alien files is that aliens could be visiting for tourism

- it actually makes perfect sense. This bastard just wants to check out the Niagra Falls

Couple of small points about that article. The Fail can't make up their mind whether he was with the agency for 25 or 35 years. Which one? Also, to my knowledge even though the 50 year deadline has well and truly passed, if he was revealing secrets that are still kept in a locked vault at Langley; I'm fairly certain he would 'disappear'. Having also been the author of several books, there's a smell of publicity about it.

Don't get me wrong, I don't believe for a second it was a weather balloon and there have been an awful lot of people who have stated on the record that they were told exactly what to think and say after the event. I just have a 'hmmm' attitude to this.

Hmm...methinks the Daily Fail have never heard of the huge dust storms or seismic events?

Looks more like a speck of dust or, as the experts say, a dead pixel or two. In the relief shot you can even see some regularity to their shape! God, the Mail must be desperate for news in the post-Olympic lull!

That was the first thing that occurred to me. They've known for decades that Mars has a dusty atmosphere that's frequently quite lively.
