I'm quite a fan of Ancient Aliens. Good times on the "History" channel.

Here's an alleged image of the alleged (I know) craft:

The Germans knew as early as WW2 that a flying wing or wedge/delta shape aircraft was very aerodynamic and so in effect it became one good 'aerofoil'. I wouldn't be surprised if this craft (if genuine) is simply an evolution of that design concept. If you had one contact on the radar seemingly moving erratically. You could say that it's down to a faulty component of the radar, such as the radar head. But to have at least three independent radar sources confirming the same target, it would make the scenario for multiple radar failure extremely unlikely. Again, there's the ECM explanation I put forth before, but that would require something incredibly powerful to project on multiple radar screens/monitors and to project holograms seeing as there's quite a few ground observers.

Without wanting to debunk the alleged craft (which I can absolutely believe to be actual and existing [then] prototype military aircraft) and all the sightings that went with it, hasn't this particular photo subsequently been confirmed to be a model hoax?

Just watching UFO Files on the History Channel (not all of it is on Hitler), episode's called "UFO Storm". Of all places they're in Cardiff hah.

Unless they're the episodes about Nazi UFOs.

Experimental military aircraft would be the likeliest explanation. I wonder how we would have made such a leap in technologly given the aircraft's reported/purported flight characteristics. Accelerating from 150 to 500 knots in a few seconds, in addition to at one point travelling at 1010 knots is an incredible development in aviation technology. As I said before, it could've been some radar defect or atmospheric anomaly but there's countless eye witnesses in addition to ground radar stations which tracked the alleged object. Also the craft responded to radar lock-ons which is unusual and would suggest that it wasn't some technical error or atmospheric anomaly.

The guy who took the photo said last year that the photo was faked. Even though a number of experts have analysed the photo and couldn't find any evidence of tampering or fakery. I think the guy claimed he put light bulbs in a polysterene model and then spun it around. Here's an example of one faked by a Wim Van Utrecht:

I haven't seen any of those ones. Hitler's Stealth Fighter on National Geographic is a good one though.

Here's a pretty good documentary:

"Secret Access: UFO's on the Record" part 1 of 7 (click)

It starts with the Rendlesham incident which we're all very familiar with but it gets better as you watch it. The Alaskan 1986 JAL one is very compelling.

By all accounts the Nazi's did have flying disc technology (not alien stuff but working on Jet Engine tech) but could never get them to work and they were made at the Skoda factory.

Although the Krill Craft as they were known do show up in the 1950’s again with the Adamsky contacts. It stands to rights that both the Yanks and Russians could have had their hands on this tech after zee war.

Yeah they're ones that used the Coandă effect for vertical take-off. There's a book Hitler's Flying Saucers by Henry Stevens if you haven't read it already. It's on Amazon.co.uk.

Didn't George Adamsky claim the aliens with whom he was in contact from the planet Venus? They were meant to be blonde haired and blue eyed or aryan...hmm!

There was another guy, I think he was from the 1950's and he said he was re-incarnated from a race of aliens who lived on Saturn. I'm sure there's a photo of him holding some sort of device he made in which he claimed it was something used by the aliens. I'm sure he was in one of my UFO books, probably one that I routinely used to scare the shizer out of myself.

The nazi ones on UFO Files were probably my favourites one I think. Straddles somewhere between explaining all sightings as experimental government craft built with the technology from captured Nazi scientists after WWII, and also - to keep the alien fans happy - throws in that the scientists were basing there tech on alien designs that were found during Hitler's search for ancient artifacts. Hell, I was convinced.

There was a lot of stuff too on that bell device the Nazis were supposedly working on and the present day ruins of its housing. An anti-gravity craft that could be used to time-travel. Handy that.

Has this episode of Frank Skinner's Opinonated been on yet?
Funnily enough, last week's featured a discussion on conspiracy theories and priceless video footage of Buzz Aldrin sparking out a ranting moon-landing-denier.

Saw that on This Morning this morning, they were talking about it as if it was a real experimental craft. Looks really fake to me.

As with a lot of UFO footage (the CGI spaceships spotted over London on a busy saturday afternoon last year and filmed by, erm, two people), the real mystery here is how these whooping planks were the only ones who saw it.
Also, I've heard a whisper the ship is remarkably similar to one featured in the Iron Sky trailer. Spooky.

It kind of makes you wonder if anyone would look at footage of a UFO and go "yeah that looks real...sold".
with CG etc only seeing one with your bare eyes must count these days to an individual.

There's a sentence above somewhere but Christ if I could get my brain in gear
