I generally like Tony Scott's films, like Enemy of the State and Crimson Tide, and Denzel is one of the coolest actors in the world, but this looks like one of the most stupidest movies ever made. Unspottable looks like a film with barely any stop and even less real world logic and I can picture all the cliches already. It may as well be Thomas the Tank Engine espiode because that plot has been used before.

...but I Iike stories like this. I like Death Train (starring a pre-Bond Pierce Brosnan and Sir Christopher Lee) and there was an episode of the New Dominion Tank Police, about an unstoppble behemoth truck which I love. Pine and Denzel do seem to connect with each other, so this could be a quitely good Tony Scott movie like Spy Game and Enemy of the State.

Didn't major studios give up on runaway train movies in like the 1920's or something? I know Fox is reaching for ideas but this is just getting sad, especially with that much talent involved. Hmm i have Denzel Washington, Chris Pine, Rosario Dawson and that guy who's Shia Labeoufs dad in Transformers whose name you can never remember - i could make something interesting, something poignant, but instead i'll make a movie which will be half an hour of Chris Pine and Denzel being all tense and not friends, half an hour of watching a train smash various things and almost, but not, killing some people (except maybe a rude investment banker or lawyer or something), then half an hour of Chris and Denzel reluctantly almost falling off the train while evil corporation man does nothing to help before realizing how greedy he's been and looking all scared because he might die because he was too greedy and corporation-y, then there's a big crash ending and Chris and Denzel are buddy's and they'll say something like "I'll buy you a drink at this bar across town, should we take the train?" and they'll laugh and i'll die a little on the inside.

Denzel, Tony Scott and trains again. After Pelham 123, this is becoming a habit with them. Could be good, but it looks like a movie we've seen before (Runaway Train with Jon Voight comes to mind). I'll probably wait for the DVD on this one.

Runaway Train has to be a candidate for most under-rated movie ever. That movie looked FREEZING. I'll watch this one to see if it gets anywhere close. Denzel and Scott usually = great.

It reminds me a little bit of Speed but they have added the loving, concerned wife element to make it more original...



Should be fun though. It would be cool to have an action movie where you can actually see what's going on, and who is involved during the action sequences. I'm not saying there's a recent film where this wasn't the case, just saying.

I might be wrong, but aren't all trains fitted with a "dead man's handle"? The driver of a train has their foot on a pedal. If they were to keel over from a heart attack, for example, the foot comes off the pedal, the emergency brakes kick in and the train comes to a stop. So a runaway, driver-free train is impossible? Just wondering...

Whats next? 2 toilet cleaners on the edge risking it all to bring down a portaloo filled with toxic waste, moving at high speed, and they're both estranged from their wives..
