Just saw this and loved every minute of it. The cast is great, particularly the main four, but the supporting cast is also really fun. The movie zips along at a great pace and the action scenes are brilliant. The action is pretty OTT and the CG-ness of it may put some people off (my GF was not a fan that's for sure!) but i loved it.

I want the Blu Ray right now, i enjoyed the movie that much.

****************** SPOILERS***************

I loved the plane/ tank shoot out sequence, great fun and also the epic destruction at the docks at the end, HUGE carnage in a brilliant way!

The action is really immense and yes, the cast really make it work. Sharlto Copley is probably the highlight, and he pulls off the accent brilliantly, there's even a little nod to his District 9 character in there.

I'm going to watch this after work today DK - I'll post my thoughts afterwards. I've read elsewhere that the Dwight Schultz and Dirk Benedict cameos are after the end credits, did you see them?

Hey Snake, yeah stick around, they play at the very end of the credits, it's brief, but worth sticking around for! Looking forward to hearing what you think dude!

Fun, Fun, FUN! I laughed my snake-ass off! The first 15-20 minutes which introduce the characters is just cartoon-crazy! Copley's Murdock steals every scene he's in but the whole cast delivered good performances; good chemistry between the Team. Great action scenes and the film moves along at an even pace. This film was pure Summer Action Movie - DEFINITELY a new film favourite.

Great stuff Snake! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Sadly I hear it's not been doing so well Stateside, which is a real shame as I'd much rather have more movies like this, than endless superhero films. Fun is the key word here and i think they really nailed the tone.

Copley is batting 2 for 2. I can't wait to see what he does next!

Absolutely. The friend who I saw this at the cinema with says that I was nuts for missing out on DISTRICT 9 - I'll have to check it out soon. Also looking forward to Director Joe Carnahan and Bradley Cooper's planned man-vs-nature thriller THE GREY.

I dont rate District 9 much as a movie but Copley is astonishing in it. One of the most effective performances i think I've ever seen. REAL emotions, not movie acting!

I wasn't even a Carnahan fan until The A Team, so I'm definitely pumped for his next movie!

Have you seen NARC DK? Brilliant film. A very different experience to THE A-TEAM. I noticed Joe Carnahan himself had a small cameo in the film as the guy who advises Hannibal of where he can find a 'pilot'.

Seen this yesterday-and it's excellent!
It's a throwback to the old buddy movies, but one where you really feel the cast had a good time doing this, and as a result, the film is better for it.
Copley is the star turn here-no debate.
The bit with the South African voice-was with someone who hadn't seen District 9,but i couldn't help myself say the immortal words:
"Fookin prawns!"-cue very strange looks
Very good,4 stars from me.

Saw it last night and while it's not Shakespeare (I wasn't expecting it to be!) it was pretty damn good fun.

And echoing what everyone else has said Sharlto was definitely the best of the four. Although I think the real highlight for me was Patrick Wilson; he looked like he was having the time of his life...

Yes, totally enjoyed this the other night! A DVD buy for sure.

And yes, Copley totally steals every scene he's in! He nailed the part completely, in my opinion.

The cameos were a tad redundant and i'm glad that Benedict's in particular was cut from the main film. That would have just been too much.

I also think Patrick Wilson needs talking up. He was very entertaining in it.

But it was still about these guys, and I'll be honest, I thought Jackson did a decent job considering he's never acted before.

Though it wasn't on my immediate 'shopping list', I'll be picking this up on blu-ray soon. Really enjoyed watching THE A-TEAM at the cinema.

Yes. And a whole lot more intruiging than he was in the dire WATCHMEN.

Picked this up on blu-ray for my dad for xmas this morning along with Inception, I'm kinda sorry I didnt buy a copy for myself lol

I loved the A-Team, it was fun, and it didnt take it self too seriously at all, which a lot of movies do these days.  the cast all worked brilliantly and the setpieces were immense, especially the AC-130 chase and the tank flying sequence. That was just sheer lunacy but brilliant fun. Copley was amazing in it as Murdoch "you ever see Blue Man Group?!" and his Braveheart skit got a massive laugh out of the audience I saw it with. Cooper was cocky without being smug as Face, Neeson was good except for a slightly dodgy accent at times, and Jackson was good as BA "I know we aint flying, we falling, fool!"

Man I cant wait to watch this again

*Spoilers*

The tank sequence was definitely one of my favourite parts  Absolutely insane and brilliant! But Copley's reactions to pretty much everything was incredibly funny -- other fav part included the "3D" movie & the nutters clapping at how realistic it was. Laugh-out-loud moments galore in The A-Team.

I thought it was excellent. Watched the Blu Ray the other day (my first viewing of it) and it was a riot. The '3D' scene was truly inspired. Perfect casting as well.
