It was just a matter of time was'nt it? They remake everything.Let's just remember the original from 1957 with STEVE REEVES,this was really as good as it gets.Sure it was made in Italy and dubbed,but who cares?The movie was a classic and Reeves was perfect.Later we had Britain's REG PARK and then all sorts of American bodybuilders jumped on the bandwagon making all kinds of weird and wonderful low grade nonsense with titles like "Hercules against the moon men",or "Fire monsters against the son of Hercules".Yes,oddly enough this market was big business in the early sixties.
Sure Lou Ferrigno looked the part,but what a cheap and strangely made film it was.
No,once again it's something to leave well alone.
