Sounds like a very cool idea! Being a BIG scifi nut, i'll lap it all up! And it will be nice to see an 'intelligent' sci-fi flick along the lines of Moon (which i love) and Sunshine (which i love, regardless of the head trippy ending!). But regarding Children of Men, i have to say that when i first watched it i was woweed by it. I thought the directing by Cuaron was truly magnificent. The one take shots? Freakin awesome to say the least. But after a while i started getting put oof by the film. Was it the premise? Was it too 'cold'? I think BOTH were the reason. The premise, although sci-fi , is still too far fetched. To me Blade Runner is a more viable future than that of Children. I mean i REALLY doubt mankind will start going sterile! And the 2nd point, the. Film was too cold. Both visually (which i get) but also story wise. There was not a single character i really cared for, no not even the woman (i forget her name) carrying the baby. Or even Clive Owen. Which is a shame becuase everything else was awesome about it. Heres hoping Gravity will be much better an experience for me personally. And yes, i agree that Cuaron's Harry Potter is excellent. Thats when Potter started going the adult route. It was more scary and grittier. And the Dementors looked freakin dementing!
