Some shots and a CGI trailer popped out today, looks pretty good.  Hopefully it'll be a throwback to Deus Ex 1, failing that Metal Gear with augments

That looks very nice indeed; the trailer is very Blade Runner-ish.

I've never played the first two, but this looks promising.

The first one was fantastic in every way. You really felt like you were walking around a real place. I remember the physics engine was great for the time as well. I spent ages taking a basketball you find in your flat and throwing it around the room to see how it bounces!

Not sure if any sequel can match the impact the first one had.

It does look really good. There will be more coming at E3 I imagine...

Absolutely breathtaking trailer. The most impressive I've seen since Mass Effect 2. Filmfan, your spot-on with the comparison to Blade Runner. It also felt like the trailer for The Dark Knight, a bit of Christian Bale and Hans Zimmer in there too. I honestly cant wait for this. Although lets hope the actual game plays like Deus Ex 1 which was my favourite game on the PS2.

Anyone know a release date?

Recently Watched Movies:
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas-7.6/10
Suspiria-8.7/10
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring-9.4/10
Dirty Harry-9.1/10
Dog Soldiers-6.2/10

It won't have a release date for a while yet. It certainly looks fantastic. Blade Runner is spot-on but there's plenty more to it than that.

(Bit of trivia, fact fans. This is my first ever forum post written from a mobile device: i-phones are pretty damn good.)

Dude, funny you should mention The Dark Knight. I've watched the trailer a good few times now (I love it, one of the most atmospheric video game trailers I've ever seen), but on my second listen through, it struck me how much I could hear the influence of TDK's score.

I really hope the game lives up to the promise of this trailer.

The games core mechanic progresses levels in a linear story arc but major plot points crop up with multiple choices throughout the game, a bit like the ending of the first. The actual game plays like the first, augment your chappy as you see fit with lots of nifty gadgets to stealth, punch, shoot your way through a level, just like the first one.

All in all, it looks frkn sweet!

Oh man this is great news for Deus Ex fans. I hope they bring back the spy drone augmentation that was in the first game.

PC Gamer have a massive feature on this at the moment which is an extensive preview. I'm actually currently typing something up about it as we speak and, frankly, after seeing it in action, it's one of my most anticipated titles now. I reckon it'll do that rare thing and actually unify fans old and new with a great gaming experience.

Gameplay trailer.

I'm looking forward to this one.  Reminds me of Metal Gear for some reason.

Alternate gameplay/routes vid. Im liking the look of this but not the 'HEY LOOK! YOU CAN USE ME' yellow glow.

This is up there on my 3 most wanted list for this year, with Arkham City and Uncharted 3. Looks magnificent. I missed out on the previous Deus Ex games, so am really looking forward to it.

Massive leak happened on PC apparently.  The press preview copy got out and is doing the torrent rounds.  Not a cat in hells chance I'll be getting that, why do people spoil it for themselves?

Looks like Square Enix have turned the leak into a positive.  They're letting people talk about it on the official forums and it looks like it could be the real deal.

Not the review, but it does give the score - 10/10. Excitement building...

I know nothing about Deus Ex having never played the other two games but those screens have got me thinking it might be worth a crack.

It looks great and Im really looking forward to it

But my interest mainly stems from the fact that their next project is Thief 4, and this will give a relatively good indication of the quality we can expect from it

About 2 weeks to go until this is released and I'm looking forward to making a rare (for me) day 1 purchase.

News of the 10/10 score from OXM is encouraging, but I wonder how independant they are. Maybe the likes of IGN and Gamespot will provide a truer test?

94% in Games Master too.

It's out on my birthday so hopefully someone will have got my hints.  Bad reviews or not I was still gonna get it anyway, it looks very cool.
