So does anyone know if this is ever gonna get a release date over here? Or alternatively does anyone know, or know where i can find out if an import copy will play on my UK Xbox 360? I REALLY wanna play this game and think it looks great and right up my street. Eurogamer gave it a pretty positive review after IGN slammed it. I tlooks like a lot of fun and very interesting.

Just checked and it's not region free I'm afraid. 'tis NTSC only. Shame as it does look good.

Seems to be a reduced price and with these reviews it is probably no wonder.....

It was released at $20 in the US.

The reviews have been mixed. Some have said it's terrible and some have said it's terrible in a compelling and really fun way.

I know graphics aren't everything but no current-gen game should look that bad, certainly not at this stage of the console life-cycle.

Agreed the graphics are pretty rough but hopefully the game will be entertaining enough despite that.

I was reading a preview of this in 360 Gamer, and by all accounts it's a rip off of Twin Peaks with some Silent Hill thrown in for good measure. As shoddy as the visuals are looking, I can't wait!

Ordered this from Zavvi for 15 wingwangs. The more I've been reading about it, the more I wants it!

I'm interested to see how an open world survival horror plays, and it's supposed to be utterly nuts dialogue wise.

Can't wait

Just watched the trailer for this, and while it does look like it belongs on the PS2, it looks terrifying, weird and funny in equal measure. Fingers crossed it gets here tomorrow!

Pretty much sums this up!

I like it so far. The controls feel very old school, and a bit Resi 5. It's rather amusing in a Twin Peaks sort of way! And the music is just odd!

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII Doooooooooooont't waaaaaaannntttttt to diiiiiiiiiiieeeeee!!!!!!!!

AMAZING!

Resi 5 meets Twin Peaks? Awesome!

So if the controls are like Resi 5, does that mean you can't move and shoot at the same time?

It's veeeeery bizarre! It arrived today and I've played about an hour so far. Very open world, it's the game Alan Wake should've been in that respect. A true open world survival horror. The graphics are painful at times but character models aren't so bad. I like it so far!

You can side-step! So add Knightmare to the comparison list!

The map is more than a bit maddening! It's very difficult to navigate the vast area cos the map doesnt zoom out nearly enough, plus you cant place a waypoint marker!  Had a very Shemue esque QTE moment which was pretty exciting.

The driving is a bit crap, but at the same time absolutely superb. Whilst driving, I chose to talk to Zach, and started waffling about Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes, and the lack of special features on some DVD's of 80's films .

I find this game feels like a Dreamcast game. No idea why, it just feels like it!

I'm about 7 hours in now and really enjoying it. I wasn't that sure at first but after starting chapter 2 the story has really picked up and I've settled into a very nice rythym with the game.

Not had as much time to play this as I'd have liked at the minute. I'm almost 3 hours in and things are picking up quite well. Just up to the saw mill.

Crazy/great stuff.

I seem to have been playing this half the weekend. It's just like everyone has reported - absolutely terrible controls, infuriating mapping and still thoroughly enjoyable. I keep getting assignments to do something at 21:00 when it's eleven in the morning and being forced to drive around killing time though. At one point i just parked the car and started to read a book IRL. Is there an easy way to tell who might have a side mission for you without going to speak to them on the off chance? There's only so much fishing an agent can do.

JINKS ON DARK CRYSTAL'S PROFILE:

Picked this up on saturday for 15euros, played it tonight...

....VERY WEIRD!! EXTREMELY ODD but strangely you do want to carry on playing, depsite the wonky controls and poop graphics. Some parts are very amusing and the enemy battles are pretty tense. Curious to see how the story plays out and if you find out who or what Zach is.

Feels like an early PS2 game though.
