Looks interesting. Can't decide if I'm going to like the futuristic side of it or not - probably should play MW3 first though.

I shouldn't judge before seeing more of it but to be honest, that looks fucking terrible.

It might turn out to be really great fun, but it just looks like more of the same but with robots.

I must say, those tank mech things look balls. Straight outta Super Shark!

The only part that looked appealing was the horseback section. Didn't like the first one, doubt I'll like this.

You know, I don't think they quite understand what "Black Ops" are.

Meh

None of the characters in BO can match Price and Soap.

Mind bogglingly terrible. So off the mark it's not even funny. Here I was looking forward to a return of secret Cold War BLACK OPS after the band excess of COD MW3. Instead we get this. Wow....

I'm not even going to put any more time or thought into this game. I'm done. I enjoy realistic if heightened military shooter action that puts me in scraps right of the movies. This is just boring looking sci fi that doesn't even manage to look exciting in trailer form.

Only part I liked was the horses running, but that just served to make me think it would be cool if they'd had a level set in the 80s against the soviets in Afghanistan.

I listened to the Giant Bombcast Black Ops 2 podcast today and my opinion of the game has changed. Judging from what they're trying it sounds like they are not just making another CoD game. I'd suggest everyone to check it out.

Is anybody actually planning on playing Black Ops 2? Think I might give the campaign a whirl but that's about it...

Most probably at some point but I'm more interested in Assassins Creed, Hitman and Dishonoured

its on pre order for me

ive never really liked the single player from COD4 onwards but this one has grabbed me due to different, player triggered, story arcs (if i read it right) and an actual Zombie campaign

looks like the game may have some legs on all levels as opposed to just multiplayer in mw3.

im also glad they are bringing back a better evolved combat training.

Im really late to the party and have just bought black ops... its quite hard (or im quite shit) but im really enjoying the campaign. Does anyone still play this (PS3) or MW3? Im getting very bored playing alone at night (har har) and want to join someones class.

I had pretty much zero interest in getting it as I'm more interested in Boarderlands 2, Assassin's Creed. Walked into work yesterday and we've been given a dozen copies to sell on Tuesday and it's got me tempted into getting it. But until then it wasn't on my radar.

The Black Ops FB page posted about the guy camping out:

I've preordered this game yet I'm not at all the slightest bit keen for it. A futuristic COD game just seems absolutely terrible and I can bank that half the people who purchase it will be at the level of maturity to completely skip doing any campaign and jump straight on aboard what I hope to be a decent campaign!

I'm hoping all the hardcore gamers move to Black Ops2 and leave middling players like me to potter around on the orignal.

Heard a few people talking about how they're taking time off work to practice on BO2 so they'll be ready for all the Christmas Noobs.

Well been playing for a few hours now and it feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the last few COD's. The pick ten system really does give you a bewildering array of options when it comes to making your class, you can get camos for secondary weapons now including the knife! Unlike the rest of Treyarchs COD's that have always looked shit this looks beautiful compared to IW's games and they have finally made the guns sound like guns instead of cheap plastic toys. The new scorestreak system rewards objective play more than just killing which makes a nice change and I'm glad they went back to if you die it resets as it got tiresome in MW3 when at the end of a long match there would be EMP'S going off everywhere and Juggernauts smashing everyone in. Honestly get the feeling this will be the best COD since number 4.

@Blackduck theres a Mercenary Moshpit gamemode with loads of random gametypes and no parties so you don't have to worry about being crushed by a clan of 12 year olds with nothing better to do.

Really quite enjoying this so far. It looks great, and feels different. I mean, it's still CoD. But it really does feel as if more effort has gone into it this time.

That's because Amazon Prime is the most useless service on the planet. I've got a 3 month trial on the to and only one of 4 orders has actually turned up next day.

This trial certainly has t convinced me to pay up for the service afterwards!

Hearing good things about the PS Vita version, Black Ops Declassified, apparently the campaign can be completed in...

...less than an hour!
