I like how the two people keeping this thread alive are the ones who kept saying it' not as good as MW2 and they're bored of it already...

Playing Domination last night and kept getting my arse handed to me off a guy with a gold famas. He got over 50 kills 3 games in a row.

How do you get a gold gun anyways?

Is that not the reward for 15th prestige?

There was also a hack going about as well to get the gold guns without the hard work.

I believe it's 14th prestige. It's only a camouflage anyway.

I think the hack has been patched too.

One of the reasons why I began to stray away from the CoD franchise and haven't been back since was the amount of problems found to be affecting the game on multiplayer. This however, is a joke...

The game was a total shambles from day one. I just hope the vast majority vote with their feet when the inevitable sequel comes out.

Probably not going to happen though. You could shit in a box, stick Call of Duty on the front and kids would still beg their parents to buy it for them.

New update has removed Mercenary TDM. I'm now stuck playing against clans and with idiots on Domination instead.

I do like the new Mercenary Moshpit option becuase it offers more variety. I also like Ground War because it's a good mode for getting tons of kills.

Managed to get the last 2 people on demolition while in second chance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkhBGlGfoJ4

I like the idea of the Merc Mosh Pit but losing Merc TDM, which is one of the more popular modes on BLOPS, is a real step back. Instead of having a level playing field when jumping into a game I now run the risk of playing against clans. I'm a good player but if you're continually put on a crap team due to a clan being in the room then it gets tedious.

danbo1138 - I've had to remove your avatar. It's over the allowed limit sadly.

I got back into this because I read that it was a double Xp weekend.
Also, loving the Moshpit.
Managed to get my 2nd chance perk to pro by pulling off the 'headshot while downed' challenge to someone on a ladder in WMD. Should have saved the replay.

Had a good match on Nuketown the other day. I was pretty untouchable, 26-2.

In this clip we already won the 1st round and I had a few killstreaks backed up that I was about to unleash in the 2nd round.

Not sure if anyone else has seen this yet, but I was pointed in the direction of this video the other day, showing just how terrible the spawning is on BLOPS, and how you can massacre a team if you know how to exploit it. The spawning can indeed be terrible, but this is just ridiculous:

That is just stupid.

Question, I am seeing a lot of people in matches with two id's as in there will be *** and right underneath its ***(2).

What is all that about?

2 players on 1 X-Box. The (1) indicates the second player.

Ta.

I wondered as last night I was in a lobby where I was the only one without a (2) with me!

I've not even had the PS3 long and this is my first CoD game, but...

How come everyone else in the game seems to have a gun sight that is magnetically attracted to me?? If someone see's me, I know that I am pretty much instantly f&*ked!?!? Yet if I try it (and I do have the auto aim on!), my sight won't go anywhere near the bastards!?!?! And on the rare occasion that it does, I can stand there emptying entire clips into someones head while they stand there laughing before arming their small size children's pea-shooter and blowing me away with it!?!??!?!?

I'm aware it's probably just down to that fact that I suck and am just ranting, but it's f&*king frustrating!!!!!!

WE've all been there!

I think the best thing to do when you start out is to find the best player on your team and follow where he goes. That way you'll learn where the best spots are if you want to take cover.

Worst thing you can do it is to run around on your own!
