Found in the latest PS3 BLOPS patch to fix the ongoing connection problems. Honestly, it's laughable.

 Still haven't got round to playing this, although I'm borrowing it from my brother today so I can have a crack at the campaign. I'll have a whirl on the multiplayer, if I like it I might consider buying it.

• Fixed “NEW” stamp not disappearing for Custom Slot 9 when highlighting the slot.
• Removed water vision effect when respawning after dying in the acid pool in Radiation.
• Several contract fixes.
• Now allow players to connect to System Link Games even if they are not connected to LIVE.
• Fixed crash when host migration occurred during a join-in-progress.
• Fixed issue with players seeing incomplete Create a Class submenus when Party leader switches lobbies or kicks player.
• Fixed in-game Friends List from opening when viewing then closing the playercard of a player in a lobby.
• Addressed Zombies split screen issue where players sometimes get booted back in the lobby.
• Replaced debug text appearing for some content in the in-game Store.
• Fixed crash when attempting to watch a film or clip with 3 or more profiles signed in.
• Fixed freeze while watching films and changing sign-in status using inactive profiles.
• Fixed a freeze if a player opens the Xbox Guide while the match is ending and quits immediately as they arrive in the post-game lobby.

Gameplay Tuning:
• Second Chance – players that put an enemy into Second Chance are now credited for a full kill once that enemy dies. If another player kills the enemy while the enemy is in Second Chance, they will get assist credit.
• Adjustments to the PSG1 with attachments.
• AK74U adjustments.
• RCXD adjustments.
• Silenced sniper rifle adjustments.
• Removed hit markers when shooting friendly equipment.

These fixes have come just in time, as the "First Strike Map Pack" DLC is just around the corner and will be ready to download on February 1st for 1200 MSP, the DLC will also include 150 GS worth of achievements!

 I checked those patches out last night, the last chance assist patch is a welcome one. Nothing worse than spending time taking out a camper only to be pipped at the post.

Didnt really notice any considerable difference with the RCXD, or to the AK47U. Everyone's still running around with the 'UMP45-alike' and getting ridiculous kills. Personally I'm quite into the HK21 with Sleight of Hand Pro at the mo, when they come round the corner they get instantly mowed down by my machine gun. The HK is the nearest your going to get to having a death machine all the time. Great stuff.

Looking forward to the map pack on Tuesday, should freshen it up a bit.

 I have a problem with map pack releases. if you buy them then everything is fine but if you don't then it pretty much ruins your online experience because you're in lobbies with people who have the extra content and end up being kicked when a new map arises. Why can't they seperate the online multiplayer somewhere along the line so those with the new maps are all together and those who chose not to get them all matched together. I know they like to steer you towards spending your 1200msp but the option would be nice! *

If you have the maps, it will automatically put you into lobbies with others who also have the maps. Otherwise , you join the others with no map pack. The only exception to this rule is when you jump into a friends lobby, or go into a lobby as a party, and one friend has the map pack and you dont. Then you'd be kicked once a new map comes round.

Yep I was on last night, Stadium is quite a close quarters map, I'd probably compare it to High Rise from MW2. Kowloon is fast paced, so many buildings and huts to jump across/in/around, it makes for quite a frantic map. The zip wire is fairly pointless, a guarenteed death trap. Discovery is a snipers map, lots of places to camp down and see right across the map. And finally Berlin Wall *shudder*. Absolutely mental.

 So I've enjoyed a few matches now using the new maps. You can definitely tell that the developers have listened to feedback about making the levels more-balanced for snipers.

Overall I'd say they're worth getting and definitely extend the playability of the game.

My favourite so far has to be Berlin....last night I saw a guy make a run across the walkway between walls, only to have a grenade thrown at his feet....he managed to dive to the right before it exploded...but in doing so set-off the cannons and got torn to shreds.

I also love the level design on Kowloon, as piccolo135 says, the walkways and ladders make for endless routes and very hard for campers to do their thing. Managed to hit someone in the face with a crossbow bolt from right across the map too!

Quick question - I play COD Zombies round a friends house, all PC's set up so we can play all together. Can Zombies be played as a single player?
I don't have a copy for my PC but was considering buying a copy so I can take my frustration out on zombies.
This has all arose since I moved house to somewhere with such a shit internet connection, online gaming is now a thing of the past

I think it was only available for the weekend - Xbox gamers got the new maps so that Nuketown one came about as an alternative I believe.

He ran up there right at the beginning and kept shooting people over and over again. Glad I finally got him. I just wish he saw the replay!

Here's another one. I think the most annoying players are the ones you run into the most..and actually that means they think like you! I had a tit for tat exchange with this guy in the previous match. When this next one started we again ended up in the same spot but I got him in a funny way.
