He's a great actor nathan fillion not just in firefly/serenity, but in castle he's even better and i like the fact he's got a good family who aren't the typical annoying relatives and his mother played by the great susan sullivan out of dharma and greg and his daughter who more often than not are a inspiration to castle. And I like his partnership with beckett.

Just caught the finale, probably the best episode of Castle so far and a powerful one at that, Montgomery's last stand was quite an exit for the character.

One criticism of the ongoing murder mystery for me has been is that they havn't really set up any recurring characters to be suspects, it's not like on The Mentalist where everyone from Cho to the forensics guy could be Red John, the police captain was the only member of the cast for it to mean anything. It was good that they didn't make him out to be some evil mastermind, i'm guessing whoever that is will be built up for the next few seasons.

Season Four has been pretty good so far but there's been a lack of an overall story arc. Still the chemistry between all the lead actors is still great and Castle has some fantastic one liners. I'm surprised I'm not bored of the 'love' angle yet after three and a half seasons, credit to the writers in that aspect.

Not really sold on the new Captain (First lady from 24) but apart from that it's all good....

So Castles dad was in the CIA?

Enjoyed this two-parter involving WW3, maybe a little far fetched but certainly enjoyable. Still really enjoying Castle....

I enjoyed the CIA two parter , this has always been a show thats more about the characters than the actual plot, but I'm a liitle worried that the show is starting to get a bit too far fetched. Usually when shows start getting this outlandish it means they're running out of regular ideas.

I remember that episdoe. It certainly looks that way, doesn't it? I always had a suspicion that his father would somehow play a part in a bigger story, but as an actual serial killer..

It's not a spoiler! I just said I always thought that's how they'd introduce his dad but the episode in question suggests that his dad might have been in the CIA as you said. So obviously I was wrong. Still, interested to see where they take the story.

Great Season 4 finale. Really enjoyed it. I didn't think they could top the Season 3 finale for emotion but they really did. The spot where Beckett found out about Castle and feeling betrayed was some of the best acting I've ever seen on the TV. Fantastic stuff, and a fantastic ending

Aiich. As my other half keeps telling me, so I can set the record. THe last 2 series he's said he won't bother again because it's just repetitive filler than an arc finale and then next series he gives it another go just in case

Well, they're finally together and it's good to see they haven't lost anything in doing so. Still a great chemistry there. It is a lot of filler, but it's pretty entertaining filler so I'm good with it!

Disappointed in this weeks episode. I guessed the killer within ten seconds of the episode start

The double episode with the kidnap and Castles dad was really good. Great to see a different side to Castle...

I've had this stacked in my planner for months. Just watched the episode where Xavi and Ryan are trapped in a burning building. Absolutely top quality. Great emotion involved in that episode.

Enjoying this season a lot on the whole. The episode where someone was apparently from the future was excellent!

Some cracking episodes this season. Namely the Arsonist, Future, 70's and penultimate episodes. Watching Beckett finally take down her mothers killer was a fist pump moment.

The cliffhanger....Noooooooooo! He can't be dead can he? Surely kidnapped. I was certain they were finally going to get married until I saw Castle in the car (Downton Abbey Style!)

Can't wait for Season 7.
