What a great show tonights was. Sharon Osbourne was looking even hotter than she used to. She's like a Goddess. Give me her over your Hilary Duffs and Linsey Lohans anyday. Plus she was very funny - wouldn't mind reading her autobiography.

And suprisingly - Lee from Blue proved to be quite entertaining as well. I was preparing myself for an embarrassing interview but he (with Ross' help) was pretty funny. And Bob Hoskins was awesome - great listening about his previous jobs and how he got into acting.

I couldn't find a picture of her with her sexy new hair-do, but this'll do just fine.

The new series has started (without me realising until halfway through the Attenborough interview.

From what I saw, he was very good. His views on evolution in relation to religion mirror mine exactly and I was disappointed when he didn't recieve a round of applause.

I thought the rugby bloke was a bit boring at first but he just seemed pretty quiet - but came across quite well considering the torment he could have recieved about his tan and shaving.

And Pink, well, was Pink. Not much of an interview and I don't think we missed much.

Next week, Ant & Dec

I only saw the David Attenborough interview...

What was with Jonathon Ross's hair? Looked liked a hair cut you'd have to go to junior school

Gavin Henson is such a drip. Anyone else see his interview? They talked about his vanity, it was quite funny on Ross' half, but Henson was just boring.

Attenborough was brilliant as usual. Such a wise old head and decent man, a national treasure.

Ross' tedious family/sex stories and the monsyllabic bore that was Gavin Henson made this a poor opener for the new series. The Henson interview was uncomfortable to watch, especially towards the end when there was about five seconds of silence which Wossy tried to hide by laughing. The only saving grace was Attenborough, who was as interesting as ever and is the sort of guest Wossy should aim for every week. Next week's show should have been the series opener, very good line up by the sounds of things. Oh and tonight's Parkie looks good: Daniel Day Lewis and (to a lesser extent) Jane Fonda are being fawned over!

I thought Gavin came across as an alright bloke last night.  Sure he wasn't as funny as other guests and he was pretty quiet (you could see how hard Jonathan was working to get more than a few words out of him at times ), but he seemed like a nice, regular guy who just happened to have become famous for something.

Not that I'm biased towards the Welsh or anything

That's what I thought. I don't think he was boring, just a little shy and quiet. He is a rugby player first, not a celebrity.

If I was Charlotte Church (which last time I checked I'm not) I'd be a little dismayed at Henson's level of comittment to them.

Plus Ross's hair - Jesus, what the hell was that about.

Plus, stop banging on about sex with your wife !!

Yes it's sex, a lot of people have the same experience Jonathan, move on please.

Nope he couldn't make it

But tonights was kinda dissapointing, its always the guests that you wouldn't expect to be interesting and good that aren't on it for long yet the irriating ones are on for far too long.

Yes I talking about Ant and Dec, plugging their film and even thou JR kept giving it praise - it still sounds crap.

Yet Tamsin Greig was cut off really short I think her interview only took 2 mins.

Alan Sugars interview could have been so interesting if he talked about The Apprencice but intead JR started questioning Alan Sugar about his marriage and then making the interview revolve around him, bringing up something that happened recently with his wife

Hopefully soon there'll be decent guests that are funny and will get a chance to say something

Awesome show tonight. Who'd have thought that out of Hollywood star Uma Thurman, Shakepearian actor Sir Ian McKellen and Big Brother's Big Mouth presenter Russell Brand, that it would be the latter that steals the show. I've seen him on stuff before but I've never seen him so funny. Brilliant.

But that's not to take anything away from the other guests, Uma was pleasant but bland, and Mckellen was very entertaining. Plus, we got to see an exclusive X3 clip and a genuine feeling from Ross that it's a great film.

I cannot stand Russell Brand. I just don't get him. Far too energetic, just don't get his persona at all!

Thought that was an excellent show, maybe even the best of the series so far. I can't usually stand Russell Brand either but found him quite funny tonight, still won't be watching his Big Brother show though.

I thought I hated him as well, but he was great last night. The porn stealing story was hilarious

He reminds me more of Alex from A Clockwork Orange. I thought I hated him but he really impressed me tonight. He's very funny and has a fantastic grasp of the English language. He stole the show for me, which is quite an achievement considering he was up against, not only Jonathon Ross himself (the perennial show stealer) but also Sir Ian McKellen and Uma Thurman.

totally agree, BRILLIANT show....it was a good collective bunch that's why. I thought i couldn't stand russel brand (i loathe his style on big bro...its too much) but yesterday he was brilliant...he was sooooo funny...uma thurman also is such a greta guest and a god sport....usually you find that many women guests that come on the show don't know how to react to jonathan ross, but she was giving as good as she was getting..."you can't beat a woman with a corset" "yes you can. With a stick"...

and then ian mckellen is ALWAYS a good sport...i remember when he was on graham norton with alan cumming talking about when they both went to a nudist beach when they were filming on location for X2...sadly i partied a little hard and for a little too long on thursday and had fallen asleep mid mckellen interview, so i have no idea about the clips you're talking about, but i do recal the clog conversation ADN JR telling us that paul bettany's on the show next week!!!...WOOHOO!!!

...that wasn't a dream right?

William Shatner was a bit weird. Watching Boston Legal I was thinking his acting wasn't too bad but he's just playing himself. Still got to love him. Kirk: original and best.

I have a rather unnatural hatred of Robbie Williams, he's such a tosser.

How long can Jonathon Ross keep this program going, same jokes recycled over and over again, it's getting very dull.
