Isn't he right? The show didn't really take off in the way they wanted (and thats not taking anything away from the quality) but if it didn't work on TV for everyone why risk the money and presume that it would do well on the big screen?

As much as I would love to see more AD, Cross is right. It would not work as a movie and it is to long ago. And the children George-Michael and Maeby have aged four years. They are no kids anymore!
As sad as it is - it was the funniest show on TV for a long long time, but they should let it go...

Cross isn't as in-the-loop as Bateman, Arnett and Hurwitz, when one of those say it's done, it'll be more official, however it's rather unlikely to happen nowadays anyway.
