Thats what happened to me. I think it changed the difficulty when a friend had a go on my xbox. I wasn't that bothered as I enjoyed the campaign and it all made a bit more sense 2nd time. Plus there were about 3 sections in the game that I really enjoyed so much. The bit were your defending the building and half the Taliban are coming down the mountain with all your team rapidly running out of ammo, the gunship level and the end. There was more emotion in two of those (not the gunship one) than all of MW2.

Well there is alot of truth in your comment Mr B. I've really enjoyed this game and wouldn't of been disappointed if I'd of spent money on it.

Oh well, at least I have a good excuse to give it another run through I suppose. I loved that same mission where your defending against an army of Taliban with your squad quickly running out of ammo.....the first time round I was alittle lost on what was actually happening when the music came on and then half the mountain side started blowing up.

I actually thought at first that we would be overrun and would die. Then it would move onto another soldier but then I saw a rocket fly above my head and boom! Turned around to see 2 Apaches closing in firing a barriage of rockets and cannon fire, awesome Mr B!

Emotions.........the ending was very moving. MW2 has nothing on this game when it comes to emotions Mr B, your right there.

Almost picked this up today. Went for Halo Reach instead. I see that the PC/PS3 version comes with MOH Allied Assault where as the 360 just comes with a Battlefield 3 beta. Seems a bit crap if you ask me!

I have a PS3 anyway, but I think that's bit of a bum deal for 360 owners!

If I can pick it up for maybe 10-15 quid I might, but the inclusion of Allied Assault is a strong selling point for me!

I'm wondering if anyone can help me with a bit I'm stuck on....

I'm on Day 1, Gunfighter - I think that's what it's called, the one where you are the helicopter gunner? I think I'm pretty much at the end of the mission, where I have to take out mortars/RPGs on the mountain top. I destroy one easy enough using the hellfire (where the game points out the target for you) but then the woman says "take out that cover behind the rocks" and before I can work out what I'm meant to be aiming at, I fail the mission! I keep blasting away but it makes no difference and I can't see a white rectangle pointing out a target....anyone got any tips? The IGN guide is useless, I guess they might have been more interested in Black Ops.

Part of me is wondering if the game has glitched out or something - I 've noticed a few times so far in the campaign where I've had to restart from checkpoints because the game just seems to hang. It's a shame as for me it's stopping it being a great rather than good game - in many ways I'm preferring it to Modern Warfare 2, despite the 'meh' reviews.

Done it! Just one tiny little bastard needed shooting, it was just a case of trying to figure out which one and pot luck as to whether you could shoot him quick enough! Bit of cunty level, especially since the rest of the game has been pretty manageable.

Started playing this last night on hard, about 9ish, finished it 6 hours later.
Have to agree with what people say the last stand is a brilliant level, I was down to my last bullet when the Apaches appeared.

I am finding multi-player hard as from far off the two sides look the same and I end up shooting at team mates or ignoring enemies!

Would hate to have you watching my back.

It is pretty hard to see the enemy far in the distance, especially if they are lerking behind a rock or debris of some kind. I only have to complete each mission on 'Tier 1 Mode' now within the time limits for each level and then I'm 1000gs on this game. Haven't really had time and I've now sent it back to Lovefilms. Back on my list though.

The next Medal of Honor game has crept from the shadows. According to the Official Xbox Magazine (via Game Informer), the new game is titled Medal of Honor: Warfighter and is due out this October.

Developed by the original game's Danger Close studio, Warfighter will run on EA DICE's Frostbite 2.0 engine, which powered Battlefield 3. The game will reportedly follow a group of Tier 1 Operators, as was the case in 2010's Medal of Honor.

And while Danger Close will be using DICE's game engine, it won't be calling on the studio to once again handle Medal of Honor's multiplayer component. According to OXM, Danger Close is bringing Warfighter's multiplayer component in house.

No mention was made as to which platforms Medal of Honor: Warfighter will ship for, but the 2010 game landed on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

According to the magazine, publisher Electronic Arts will have more details to share concerning Medal of Honor: Warfighter at the 2012 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco next month. EA is holding a Medal of Honor-themed event in that city on

So it looks like EA have decided to release Battlefield and Medal of Honor games in alternate years....

It's already obsolete... You can't bring out Warfighter after Advanced Warfighter? It's already been advanced.

What about Warbotherer?

Anyway, definately got my interest. Multiplayer on the last one was better than average, sort of BF-lite.

It was good, I loved it. Filled in time until something better.

The destruction was very good, like Mr B mentions, sort of BF like.

Whaaaaaaaaaat?????? The multiplayer was pretty awful in the last one, at least as far as spawn kills and just generally being

boring. And to say the campaign was good as it had one or two good bits is pushing it. BF3 had one or two good bits but it was

an awful campaign! Medal of Honour was an okay first attempt at best, it needs to up its game (and name) in a big way.

Oh it was flawed definately but I still really enjoyed it. The multiplayer was a good change from CoD and once I'd got into the maps they were top fun. I saw it as a bridge between CoD style (run and gun) and BF style (larger and tactical).

The campaign was great to and much better than BF3s but thats not the greatest compliment.

NO BORSTAL NO! IT WAS THE WORST GAME EVER!! I think I was just really disappointed with it because I was expecting

BF2.5, and instead we got a game that had many flaws. As I said, it was a first try for them so hopefully this next release will be

a better outting.

This is getting better looking, closer to the COD/BATTLEFIELD middle ground we expected from the first one.

Here's some footage from multiplayer http://youtu.be/7aiLV4VW8FU

Played the BETA.................meh! Hopefully it was just because it was the BETA that the graphics were nowhere near as good as Medal of Honor. Please please don't be a let down!
