Todd Field is one of my favorite filmmakers. It's true his films are filled with violence that is shocking and takes your breath away, but it always serves the story and is never cheap like a lot of the yank, hacky, directors over there. The performances he's gotten from Wilkinson, Haley, Spacek, Tomei and Winslet are among their career bests which says a lot about his strength with actors. Creed of Violence sounds like a great story and... well, violent. Can't wait to see this, and hope it's Field directing unless he does Blood Meridian instead.
