Does a man with two pregnant wives sound like a reasonable plot for the Smurfs?

Just wondering that seeing as Brittany Murphy, who passed away, played or rather voiced the character Gloria in Happy Feet 1, was she expected to be in Happy Feet 2? Due to her passing away obviously she can't be in it now though.
