I'm the happy owner of a new iPhone but want to make sure I'm getting the best insurance deal.

For now, I've just stuck with the cover that my network provider offer (as I've always paid this on top of my line rental) however, as it's an iPhone the monthly premium is has gone up to £12.  A lot, i think.

I've done a quick search and found some alternatives but I wondered;

What are other people's experiences?

Can any one make any suggestions?

Thanks.

That really depends on the sort of cover you want. If you want it to cover breakdowns and the suchlike, shop around, there must be alternative and possibly Apple do something themselves. Alternatively, if you are only concerned wih replacement/repair if you lose it, have it stolen or drop it, then your home insurance may cover it. You would need to opt for cover away from the home and accidental damage. You would need to consider what the excess is on a household policy and any cover limitations.

I stand by what I said in the other thread; o2 insurance is fine for my needs and not especially expensive.
