That really depends on the sort of cover you want. If you want it to cover breakdowns and the suchlike, shop around, there must be alternative and possibly Apple do something themselves. Alternatively, if you are only concerned wih replacement/repair if you lose it, have it stolen or drop it, then your home insurance may cover it. You would need to opt for cover away from the home and accidental damage. You would need to consider what the excess is on a household policy and any cover limitations.
