So that's single player and co-op done now. What a seriously amazing game. Not enjoyed a game that much in years. Iin fact I can't remember the last game I bought and completed that quickly. Most games these days, I play a bit at release, then slowly complete over a few weeks or months... But I think that goes to show the lack of appeal most games are now providing me., and the huge gap in quality between this and most other games. The production values are stellar. This game is as Eurogamer said 'beyond perfect' It takes everything that made the first game so intuitive, so original, and so damn enjoyable, and just re-invents it all again. The comedy provided by Valve is brilliant, and despite taking a bit of time to get used to him, I couldn't think of a funnier and more suited voice actor for Wheatley than Stephen Merchant. Some levels really had me thinking, and some had me stumped for a good 20 mins, some did just that, then I had to facepalm myself as they turned out to be smack you in the face obvious. Now to play through it again and piss about a bit, explore the levels and see what I can find and what achievements I can unlock (I'm well past my achievement whoring days, but these are genuinely fun and challenging to unlock). And as a side note, anyone erring on the side of caution because they don't see how the first could be a small component of the Orange Box yet this is a full standalone release... Don't. It's so much deeper, it isn't just four hours long, it offers an experience above and beyond the first, it's got a replayability factor and the co-op is great fun.
