I liked the Dr. Pepper ones that asked, 'What's the worst that could happen?' They weren't in your face and got a few chuckles out of me.

I generally like the Adidas adverts. The Beckham/Wilkinson and House Party ones were awesome.

Can't think of any current ones off the top of my head that I like though.

"I'm on a horse!"

[EDIT]
To stop me from single-handedly getting this thread locked followed by a link to the funny youtube videos thread... it's the Old Spice advert

Go compare. Genius.

Seriously though, I love all the old school Guiness ones. Like this one. And this. Just for the music.

The Guinness one that always sticks in my mind is THIS one from way back when during the Rutger Hauer era.

I quite like that Sky HD advert with the song from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, again just 'cos I like the music.

I've got to say, that it was actually a friend who pointed out their effectiveness to me, but I really enjoyed Magners/Bulmer's seasonal ads.

I'm teetotal, so usually drink adverts tend to pass me by, but the Magners ones really managed to sum up each season beautifully in their ads and made you want to drink their product at whatever time of year they were advertising.

You'd go from a lovely, warm, golden summer advert with the Kink's Sunny Afternoon playing over it to capture the general mellow mood, to a fantastically crisp, frosty, looking winter's advert with dark nights and warm fires in it, with a gravelly voice over that asks, 'Is this the perfect winter's day? Or has the clink of ice cubes made me see it that way?

I actually wanted to take up drinking after watching those ads!

I despise those go compare adverts, yet, I love the webuyanycar.com advert. I don't understand how either...

The Peter Kay John Smiths ads were comedy genius.

Also the one when they built a Skoda out of cakes.

For the older viewers The Water In Majorca Heiniken ads

The Red Rock cider ads

Volkswagen seem to have ads that linger in the mind from cars falling from the sky to It sounds like a Golf

I second the Peter Kay John Smith ads - they were classic. I liked the recent Walls sausages 'we only use the two best bits' ones too!

I'm probably in the minority but the Postman Pat Specsavers advert makes me chuckle.

Is Campbell really actually to play piano? That might do the impossible and make him even more badass!

Good ad, but a very strange one as this 'Proper British' campaign was launched at the same time as HP Sauce production was completely moved to The Netherlands

Personal faves of mine are the old Chicken Tonight ads with the Northern Panda voiced by Ralf Little.  Sadly, I can't find the best one ("ooh, me conkers!") so this one'll have to do:

Admittedly i have only seen it twice so I may grow to hate it with a passion but the Costa Coffee advert where people appear to be up to their neck in coffee beans whilst performing a musical soft rock number is quite enjoyable.
