Definately better than the World Cup but the group stages were better than the knockout stages and we need a great final to make it anything more than an average tournament.

Hope Italy win tonight by the way or at least go in front forcing the Spaniards out of their shell

DC's final tip of EURO 2012: Spain 0-1 Italy.

Put your house on it baby!

Spain will huff and puff by they won't blow the Italian casa down.

FORZA PIRLO!!!

I think Spain will win.

If Italy don't score Spain will strangle the life out of them.

If Italy do score then we will see Spain properly attack them and I don't think Italy will be able to handle that.

You're over-thinking it. Spain will win because DC's gone for Italy

There doesn't need to be logic when DC's making predictions.

Spain have dominated this so far and deserved that goal. Looks like they've finally come alive.

Apart from the goals it's been mostly Italy. Pirlo + De Rossi running midfield again.

Balotelli + Cassano need to up their game.

Slack passing from Spain.

LOL

Not necessarily finished yet, but that first half was Spain's best performance of the tournament so far. Hopefully they keep it up, it's been great to watch so far. (though I'm kind of gutted because I forgot to update my FF team and Alba's on my bench. alas.)

Erm....yeah.

Spain have completely controlled this game. Pirlo and De Rossi have been anonymous.

And there is number three.

So terribly, terribly disappointing to have this game die at the 60th minute. (Thanks a lot Motta - how about warming up properly next time?).

BIG * next to this victory.

If Spain had any class they'd give Italy a rematch.

Maybe if you've only been watching from the 60th minute. Bit hard to control midfield one man down.

Why?

They have by far been the better side even before the 60th minute.

I think it's fair to say this Spain side are one of the finest international teams ever. They're certainly the best international team I've seen, they'd piss all over France of the late 90s and Brazil of the early 90s.

Aye, with the talent coming through it wouldn't be a suprise if they won the World Cup aswell.......If England don't qualify obviously.

Bollox they were. Yeah they were more clinical than Italy but up to Motta gettting injured Italty were still in the game. Their build up play was better. Pity Balotelli/Cassano/Di Natale were no shows.

Pirlo didn't show up, Montolivo didn't show up, Marchisio didn't show...they had a few little moments but Spain had the game won before half-time really.

Even if Spain had scored twenty goals while having four players sent off you would still say Italy were unlucky. Bizarre hatred of Spain.

I think the World Cup is a definite chance. The core of their team will only be 34 (Xavi) at the most. Alonso 32, Iniesta 30, Busquets 25, Fabregas 27, Silva 28, Ramos 28, Pique 27. It's quite unbelievable that this entire team could still be around come the World Cup and that's not including others coming through.

Pirlo is a great player, but Iniesta was slapping him about with his cock tonight.

Imagine Iniesta with Pirlos hair. Greatest player ever?
