Well, there's a reason why The Killer has 60-something consecutive caps and Pele does not.

In a rathe rpleasing reversal of the usual situation, I've managed to miss most of the game up til now, yet see all the goals as they happened. Crackers they were too.

BUMP

the draw's today! Cue lots of painfully tedious "build up" and the realisation that every team in the tournament is dreading getting the Republic of Paul McShane in their group.

What are you talking about? Piss easy group as usual for England. Unless Ukraine get a MASSIVE, MASSIVE boost from home advantage England should cakewalk into the knockouts.

Yeah, England will cakewalk it as usual...

Its a tough group with dodgy teams, we don't tend to beat Sweden in competitive games, Ukraine will have a boost from playing at home and France are a good team. Cakewalk...

It's a lot easier than Group B or C though, Ukraine are deeply average and Sweden have been underwhelming in the qualifiers. France will be a tricky game but it could have been a lot worse for England.

Ukraine are rubbish and Sweden are mediocre. If you can't beat those teams you might as well pack up and go home now.

I think we'll beat Sweden and Ukraine, all I've said is it won't be easy which is true cos England are England and we like to do things the hard way.

I think England have a tricky group on paper. Ukraine in their back yard will be tough regardless of what preconceptions might be. Sweden beat Netherlands not so long ago and France are totally unpredictable.

But Group B!!! Aye curumba!

Czechs have a great chance. C'mon the Czechs.

Ireland are screwed.

England are jammy.

allez le Bleu. Great anthem.

And the Swedes. I have a soft spot for Gothenburg.

And Ukraine. Ye always wanna see the hosts do well. For the good of the tournament.

What a load of nonsense a simple 16-team draw for the tournament became....Pot A into Group C, D into F with a B1 and add a Pot D......bollocks, just get on with it. I wouldn't trust either FIFA or UEFA to be able to organize a piss-up in a brewery these days, starting to watch the show I wondered whether I'd accidentally switched to a repeat of the Eurovision Song contest.

England's group may look more comfortable than the others but I wouldn't be so sure. First of all, it's England, they're guaranteed to make it harder for themselves than it needs to be anyway and both France and Sweden have run through us in the past, and Ukraine won't be pushovers.

Ireland have a very tough group but best luck of to them. They deserve to be there and I'm sure they'll give it their best go.
