Damn, should've called me, Bob. I also do a killer impression of Macca. I'll have to drown my sorrows on a Linda McCartney sausage sandwich. All right, our kid!

for a good mocap movie. Will see what Tintin is like first. Avatar was stunning but I reckon that's a breed apart.
Zem seems utterly enamoured by the process but I'd love to see guys like him make a movie with actual people in it - what was his last What Lies Beneath? And that was Harrison Ford's best role other than Indy. Does this tell us something?
2 things...
1. Zemekis is an extrememly talented live action director and great story teller.
2. Ford needs someone like this and a movie with some meat on its bones.

btw - any Indy fans out there, check out Ford's uber-brumpy interview for his new movie Extreme Measures, I would not have wanted to be the poor schmuck asking the questions!
Some tittle tattle about possible Indy 5...

I do hope that they will transport the original Yellow Submarine track, with the voices of the REAL Fab 4 to this upgrade mocap remake. If it isn't the Beatles original music and voices singing, then I lose total interest in this project.

So glad for Serafinowicz - he's never really got the same recognition for his brilliant impressions; he is arguably the most consistent out there and there's not one impersonation. where you can say easily that he's off the mark. He does a brilliant Kevin Spacey, Al Pacino and his Michael Caine is class !

Bear in mind that (for the dialogue) the original Yellow Submarine was voiced by actors, not by The Beatles.

We must assume that the original music will be used.

The surviving Beatles and the estates of Lennon and Harrison haven't cleared the rights to original recordings for use in film and television in YEARS. I certainly cannot remember the last time an original Beatles track was used in a film, which is obviously why Zemeckis and the filmmakers have opted to use coverband the Fab 4 instead...

What is the point of this? Okay Serafinowicz does an awesome impression! But if you haven't got the original Beatles songs then it kind of makes this redundant, no? But hey if a Beatles tribute band can get those songs to a new generation brought up on shitty X factor rubbish then all the better I suppose!! But my 6 and half year old stepson likes the original they could just re-release that!!

Credit to Zemeckis for thinking outside the box on this one (Dean Lennox Kelly? Wasn't he in corrie recently?) but i still don't see the point of it...

i really dunno how to feel about this. of course they aren't going to look like the actual Beatles, but i just hope they will do justice. thats a lot of weight on their shoulders.
