Has anyone watched this new show on BBC2 that started yesterday. BBC2 will be showing an episode a day at 10pm.
I'm just about to watch the pilot on BBC iplayer now and will post back with my thoughts.

I have heard that this show has been picked up for a second season just a few days after it's season premiere, apparently New York nurses were protesting about this fact, apparently New York nurses arent portrayed the best of ways in this show.

Just watched the pilot and episode 2 on BBC iplayer... 3rd episode airs tonight (6th Jan) and it's showing nightly.

If this wasn't so true to life, it'd be funny! Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed it but it's so spot on about so many things that it can be quite a tough watch at times. I'll definately be catching the rest of the season - SKY+ series link here I come!

Loving this so far. However, not liking being cut down to a weekly dosage after getting used to a nightly one. I see why the BBC's doing it, but to be honest it's more likely to make me switch to streaming the episodes online than anything else. Anyway, fantastic show which is funny without being stupid and dramatic without being pompous, a very rare balancing act. All the actors are very strong, with the actress playing Zoey being a real pleasure.

Watched the first two episodes of iPlayer, took me a long time to do so.

...it was worth the wait, Edie Falco is funny and serious at the same time as NY nurse Jackie.
I can see why NY nurses have been protesting this show, watching medical dramas like House just sweeten up the actual goings on in a real hospital this just feels so real.

I can also see why the channel green lighted a second season just after the pilot.

can't wait to watch the rest of the episodes to catch up for Monday.

Watched them all last Sunday, wanted to see what some people were talking about, very hit and miss, some good stuff, but lots of annoying, stupid and cliched additions too.

episode 3 was directed by Craig Zisk,
Steve Busemi directed episodes 4,5 and 7

just finished watching episode 3 - chicken soup

the episode was pretty good, kinda toned down on violence and swearing than the first two but this show has now fully gotten me hooked looking forward to watching the next 3 eps over the weekend.

bugger, jacks, got it wrong.

only problem with show is the title sequence-they should have kept warwicks' 'valley of the dolls' theme music.
kinda apt for jacks.

I've watched the first two episodes and I was kind of impressed. Its nice to see a medical program treat a hospital for what it is... a disease ridden cesspit with all sorts of awful people coming in bleeding everywhere with their blood and problems. I really don't think the writer likes people though. Will keep watching methinks. Makes a change from Scrubs.

Last time I checked, it doesn't look like we're getting S2 until at least Autumn.

''The first series of Nurse Jackie has now come to an end, but a second series has been purchased. A transmission date has yet to be confirmed, but is likely to be later this year''.

looks it will end up being autumn when they show it

Nurse Jackie has also been renewed for a 3rd season.
