Well, were still on channel 4 speed.

The second episode (on, coughs, sky1) was pretty good in terms of storyline.  I'm not a fan of old musicals so I didn't know any of the songs.  Kudos to Sky for removing their logo during the show.  Sue had some cracking lines.  No more rock chick Quinn

Matthew Morrison is beyond slimey. He's gross. I was gagging at all the slow mo dance shots. Please. I'm glad 'alternate' Quinn has gone. Thank God for that. The songs were quite shite and proper OTT, Blane makes some horrendously terrifying faces when he sings. Kurt was tolerable. Santanna didn't seem to have much to do and poor Puck, he's starting to seem like a featured extra instead of a series regualr. He's gotta go though, dude looks like he's pushing 40.

I totally agree! A middle-aged 18 year old, he's probably about 27 really.

I like Sky for this, they've been removing their logo on all the Sky.... channels for a few months now and it is a good move. Last nights episode seemed a bit rushed to me, they were using it IMO to set up all the storylines for future episodes. I was also glad that Quinn has returned to her old look, however she has become a bitch. The whole Kurt and Britany running for class president was one of the things that seemed rushed and slightly random in the backdrop of everything else that was going on during the episode. But I am looking forward to how all the storylines that were set up during this episode play out over the next few weeks.

Yeah, they have to graduate, it's just whether there's a spin off show or not.  I liked the Kurt storyline this week, not so much the unicorn thing, when he was upset that nobody would take him serious.  The Quinn story was resolved far too quickly.

I think Quinn's goth appearance was resolved quickly but not her new attitude, as she will now be hoping to get full custody of Baby Beth. I also agree with Bozz as well Puck isnt getting anything to do.

No Quinn's story is far from resolved, all they did was stop her looking a state! All joking aside I heard her story gets VERY serious and quite sad....could we have our first Glee death?????? Discuss.

She'd hot either way you wanna paint her but personally that look was doing her no favours. I'm just gonna say it, I don't like the alternate goth look. It's self indulgent.

I'm watching it at SKY 1 speed... first episode was a scene setter but the songs were pretty weak. Second episode was OK... Kurt's boyfriend is smoking hot plus he's a junior so will be sticking around when the main sets gone. The unicorn thing ties in with Gaga's influence on the show (check out Born This Way album track and her tattoos...). I liked Quinn as a goth, shame she got cleaned up too damn quick - still a bitch admittedly and she does need to quit smoking for sake of the baby but unbelievably judgemental about how she can't look that way and be a good mother. Typical yanks! As for episode 3 folks better savour it cos Glee then goes on a 3 week hiatus along with the States transmission...

Glee episode 4 should hit our screens late Oct/early Nov...

That's the problem with the way the US broadcasts shows.  With something like Fringe you forget what's bloody happened, Glee isn't so bad but it's still quite annoying - weeks off here there and everywhere.

Will the 3 week hiatus be for other US shows or is is just Glee?

Not sure tbh although a mid-season break is def bound to hit us around Xmas time! Anyone know if Modern Family is running at same speed as the States?

I got the impression that it was more to do with her attitude than her looks. Certainly Glee tries to be less about looks and more about the individual. Please note the emphasis is on TRY.

Mr Shuster needs to be killed off. He is vile. Mercades wants all the glory without doing the work. I think Rachael deserves the gig.

It makes me uncomfortable that Will feels that he needs to FIX Emma. Yes, her OCD is a little out of hand, but it doesn't mean she needs fixing, she just needs helping. He was spot on when he spoke up to her parents though, what awful people they seem to be.

I don't know whose side I'm on concerning Mercedes and Rachel. It does seem that everyone wants to keep Rachel happy a lot of the time. We all know she's good, but she isn't the only talented person in the group. However, Mercedes does sometimes seem like she thinks she should get the main part/solo/whatever just because she's good and because it should be someone other than Rachel, rather than because she actually earned it. Didn't we go through this before in one of the other seasons, though? Mercedes acting out because Rachel got all the leads, and them giving her a solo in the end?

It was nice to see more of Mike, and some actual background for him. They did add another stereotype this week (smart Asians!), but I liked Mike's little internal struggle, and the moment with his mother was sweet. I'm also glad they've written in some singing talent for him, I always wanted to see him as more than just "the dancing guy", but it seemed like they'd written out that possibility when they made a point of him not being able to sing last season (I think, maybe the season before).

I kind of lost interest due to the hiatus break, but I do have the episodes recorded and am hoping to get back into it soon.

This week's episode was pretty good, though I would love to know what the hell is going on with Puck's hair. I wish he'd just shave it off already.

Some controversial stuff in the past few episodes though, expecially concerning Finn and Santana, but I won't comment until you gusy have caught up.

I guess during the first season we were all wondering when the novelty would wear off. The show might sail by this season but if they replace the main cast next year then it might fail. There's also a new NBC's answer to Glee called Smash starting up after Christmas, its fate is yet to be confirmed but gleeks might like it.

I'm still watching but as with most US TV this year it's going downhill ...fast. There is zero story - the thin plot is written around the songs, the MJ episode really highlighted this. What the hell are they gonna do for another eleven episodes? It's anyone's guess.

Anyone still watching?
