Storythrice is a self attention wanting douche, ignore him. I always liked Murphy, she made some bad choices (Just Married)), but she did some great work in Clueless, 8 Mile and King of the Hill and her Boogie Wonderland is very highly played on my iPod.

First saw her in the quirky Wheatus video for A Little Respect and thought she was gorgeous.  Such a shame to die so young :o(

That is very odd that he doesn't want an autopsy, you might be right he might have had something to do with it.  I did hear on the news that they were going to do an autopsy.

 As bad as it is that an actress so young has died, I have the feeling it has something to do with drugs especially considering the circumstances mentioned above. And if that is the case, well that's the risks you take
And the first flick I saw her in was Mark Dascasos' Drive, she was bloody mental in it.

 Teribbly sad news.

She was a very talented young actress who leaves behind a good CV. In a film that was full of terrific female performances she gave one of the best in Girl Interrupted, a performance that sadly gets forgotten in the wake of Jolie`s show stealing turn.

RIP Brittany Murphy.

God love poor Brittany, she was a beautiful young woman and a good comedienne with a bright future ahead of her. She apparently died of natural causes and I can't believe a heart defect was never spotted in all the medicals she had to have to get insurance to do movies. I feel sorry for her husband. On Saturday, he was a husband looking forward to Christmas with his wife. Now he's suddenly single, a widower and he has to endure her funeral just days before Christmas. It'll be years before he gets over this. Brittany Murphy and her unmistakable huge brown eyes will be missed. I'll never forget her. RIP.

 Only 2 years older than me, so really makes you put things in perspective. Said on news earlier, heavy rumours circulating that her MI was linked to an addiction to perscription drugs. Very sad... and yet another celeb caught up in the spiral of drugs! :(

So very sad. My only real frame of reference was Sin City but she came across as a very feisty young actress. She could have been something amazing...

What a deeply unpleasant suprise. In every film she was in she filled the screen with her sparky attitude and was maturing into a fine actress.One other movie that escaped mention was her fun turn as Deliverance in the brilliant Drive, a role she took after Clueless. It a goddamn shame she won't be on our screens anymore. You will be missed Britany - Rest in Peace.

Empire. I brought up your website expecting you to have made a big deal of Brittany Murphy's tragic death and all I eventually found was a pishy wee link. The BBC's done a bigger and better feature than you. Disappointing! I'm away to watch Little Black Book....that'll cheer me up.
