I hated meet the parents, i thought it was boring, unfunny and Stiller just gets on my nerves! But Meet the Fockers i loved. Great fun for the full runnign time, Stiller even had a few good lines and it was very feel good! But the real brilliance came from the Hoffman and Streisand double act - if this third installment is to be a sucess it NEEDS to bring thm bk!

Taxi Driver, Mean Streets, Copland and The Bridge of San Luis Rey.... and Falling in Love (1984) featuring Meryl Streep... where they basically play Charlie and Johnny Boy. But without the crime. Or the interest for that matter!

i think that's a little harsh empire...i thought copland was a great film. great plot and the cast was stellar - in particular stallone in, my opinion, one of the most underrated performances of all time. i suppose it's only natural that you play down a movie like copland but play up another shoddy sequel like meet the parents 3!!!

I'm a little worried they used up their arsenal of good jokes with toddlers on the second one - and a harvey keitel scoop may suggest that they are having difficulties fishing in hoffman. If that's the case then this may well be the deathblow to the franchise, even for the most avid of fans.
But the first weekend everyone who likes the second one will want to see how this one fares, so the first weekend numbers are gonna be good regardless of the quality of this thing.
