First the bad- Benjamin Franklin was never President of the U.S.A - get it right Empire, or person Empire seems to have quoted. Good news about Sgt Rock though, sounds cool

sorry Empire I misread the quotation marks, you did indeed make the Benjamin Franklin U.s> President gaff all by yourself. Bad Empire.

Far be it from me to be a stickler for comic book fidelity, but what's the point of Sgt Rock if he's NOT in WWII? You could just make him ANY grizzled warrior-type, surely?

Like my friend britesparc says, what's the point if ROCK is not set during WWII?! Mind you, director Lawrence's take on CONSTANTINE wasn't exactly true to the comic now was it?

If Warners are chickening out about Rock's "jingoism" and WWII setting, then they're making a crap movie with no balls. Be true to the character, that's what makes him unique.

And, yes, Demolition Man is an excellent film. So good, you wonder why director Marco Brambilla faded away like he did.

... he made Excess Baggage. As for Silver and Sgt. Rock, Shane Black is reading it in the end credits of Predator. So that's how long Silver's been chasing it...

Marco Brambilla's career didn't end because of one movie. i've seen a lot worse than Excess Baggage. He is an artist now. Shame, who knows what he could have gone on to achieve as a director.

The director of Constantine and I Am Legend? So there's a very good chance that this will be an interesting film ruined by the over-use of (bad) CGI.
