With Christmas just around the corner, okay it's a little further than that but we are nearly there, what film provides you with the warm fuzzy glow of the festive season the most and enscapulates all you desire at this time of the year.

With great debate and internal umming and aaring, would have to go for

It's a Wonderful Life

Very good question JIm, easy answer for Snake-Eyes - THE SNOWMAN.

Thanks mate, trying to get into the festive spirit, plus your choice is a bonefide classic as well, I love it, but it makes me cry so I 'ration' myself to viewings and has huge childhood meaning as to it's story, it only takes the opening bars of Walking in the Air and it's tears.

It is the chessiest movie I have ever seen but All I Want for Christmas just works in December when I'm spending a Sunday wrapping presents. Any other time it would be too sickly sweet.

It's not a Christmas film (though it does have snow in it), but I would strongly recommend you give Dean Spanley a try.

Very warming film.

Elf has been a must watch in the vasquez household since it came out on DVD. It's utterly nuts with a warm and fuzzy christmassy glow!

Santa Clause: The Movie - followed  by any holiday-esque films. While you were sleeping, the snowman, die hard even - and no the sequel doesn't count

Now I openly admit this as I can't be the only one - two or three versions of christmas carol - including the weird musical one 'thank you very much, thank you very much that's the nicest thing that anyone's ever done for me'

....feel free to run why you can I don't mind!

I remember when I was in primary school, we watched this on video one afternoon (in the video room!), just before we broke up for Christmas Holidays.

I especially liked Goofy as 'Jacob Marley'! He tells Ebeneezer that he will be visited by The Three Spirits but holds up two fingers (recycling King Louie's 'Two Bananas gag from THE JUNGLE BOOK methinks!)

Oh yeah. Michael Caine is brilliant in that.
