action-poacked and a bit less po-faced (dare i say camp) than the twilight books. very enjoyable nonsense, i hope the film does the books justice. there is a possible incest plot in there too, right enough......

The first 3 books are all out here in the UK, they're published by Walker. Book 4 isn't released anywhere yet.

Sigh!!! If they are going to bring in another book franchise they need to come up with something totally different!
- Something not involving the following: Vampires, werewolves or boy wizards!
My suggestions:
- The Jimmy Coates series by Joe Craig: About an genetically created assasin by a Neo-democratic ( fancy name for fascist) Brittish gov. Jimmy is human, but programed in his genes to become the ultimate killing machine. The thing is (as usual to make things interesting) he decides he doesnt want to and has to fight against his nature.

the only similarities are the downworlders..
twilight is romantic crap compared to this..
i'm excited, if they cast well and do it correctly, and rate it R-18 so as to not create the likes of the twihards..
