Best of the Best. I'm absolutely serious. The gallant sportsmanship after such an emotional build up had me properly blubbing!

Haha! Shit, I used to well up at the end. Not seen it in years though. The bit with Dae Han at the end:

"To save a life in defeat is to earn victory and honour within. Your brother too, was a great fighter. I deeply regret your loss, and I offer myself as your brother"

Shaun of the Dead, anyone?

Yes! The bit between Pegg and his mother is actually very emotional and I thought very well acted by Pegg. I well-up everytime.

Believe it or not, Armageddon. The scene where Harry rips off his patch and takes AJ's place brought a tear to my eye and a lump to my throat whilst in the cinema.

There's too many to mention but I often find myself most moved by acts of bravery and selflessness in movies. I can't really think of any now though, besides Boromir in LOTR

Also a more regular tearjerker that I'm not sure has been mentioned- In America. There's quite a few sad parts but my favourite is when the two girls tell Mateo about their brother and he is visibly upset by it.

The scene in The Sixth Sense when Cole tells his mother what the answer to the question is in the car. Gets me everytime

Probably the most moving 15 minutes of film in recent history! Bawled! And still do every time. Its execution is exquisite,  beautiful and ultimately… heart breaking. For many, many reasons Up was the best film of 2009 for me. But this is one of the main ones…

That opening scene may just be the finest example (and there are so many) of why Pixar are so special! Very few directors and real actors can create even half that level of emotion and audience investment.

Up - it was so emotional I just broke down and wept,

And weirdly The Return of the King - right at the end where it's the Coronation; Aragorn sees the hobbits, who are about to bow, and he states, 'My friends, you bow to no-one.' Gets me every time.

Toy Story 3 and Up most recently.

When I was a kid then it was anythign where the hero died - especially Westerns.  The Alamo really upset me!

I'm sure these have been mentioned (can't be arsed too look), but the two movies that made me drop my manly facade of being a gruff 'bloody bloke' and shed a little salt water were ET and Watership Down....

Milk had me in pieces. The amazing scene with hundreds of people walking down the street holding candles.

Up also reduced me to a blubbering mess

127 Hours, with its use of music from a certain band had me in tears during its final minutes. I put it down specifically to the music tho, very emotive.

Spoiler alert.

I recall E.T. was the first movie I cried at. When they find the little bugger in the river, it just set me off.
Titanic I blubbed my eyes out when people were falling off the back of the boat and when the boat came crashing down on them all. Didn't cry at all when Jack was let go.
Finding Neverland, obviously cried when Kate died.
Most recent - Eight Below. Cried all the way through it. But I am a dog lover.

I agree with the poster who posted about the scene in the sixth sense where he tells his mum about his grandmother watching her dance recital, that has me in tears.
My other half doesnt really watch films but if its a romantic/weepie she will do so i try to take take up a weepie but not much seems to move me, remember me didnt move me, reign over me didnt,
Plague dogs had me crying at the end. I find Mask (the movie with Cher) extremely hard to watch it chokes me up every time.
this may seem strange to some but Dead mans shoes (shane meadows) had tears rolling down my cheeks after

SPOILER -
You eventually find out his brother has been dead all along, the haunted look in Paddy considines face and you know even after hes exacted revenge on everyone you know he will not find peace

Inception, because of how awful, pretentious and (as the great John Landis points out) unoriginal it is. Not to mention my constant astonishment that DiCaprio is able to get work.

Same here. Great film.

Marley & Me just because...the dog! :'-(
The Laramie Project.
Planes Trains & Automobiles. The moment that Neal page goes back to the station and Del says that his wife died 8 years ago is heartbreaking.
