As a kid The Land Before Time tore me up.
As an adult, have to admit that I've been pretty hard to break down, although curiously I get a bit wet eyed at the end of Narc when Ray Liotta is apologising to his just dead mate.
Titanic, well that made me cry when I realised it was three hours of my life I was never going to get back again. God I hate that film...

Edward flippin' Scissorhands gets me EVERY time. And I'm not talking a few tears, more wailing! Mainly the 'hold me', 'I can't' scene, but also the end with Winona's speech and the ice sculpturing turning into snow. And I'll give Danny Elfman credit here because I think it's 50% that flippin' Ice Dance song, it kills me. My fiance is coming up the aisle to that tune next year, I've got no chance.

Up got me too but not the sequence at the beginning, it's the little twist about the scrapbook. I think it's the best depiction of what love is that I've seen on any film.

Titanic got me one of the 4 times I saw it at the cinema.

Bigfoot and the Hendersons when I was younger.

Oh man, I've just remembered that mouse singing 'somewhere out there, beneath the pail moonlight' in An American Tail. Waaaaaaaa!

The older I get the more this is happening, more recently the Notebook. Men, it's good to let it out. However, my fiance cried at Terminator Salvation, I'm not THAT bad :-)

Firstly, I'm a guy. As I get older I seem to get worse but here are ones I remember crying at a little

Star Wars Episode III - Obi Wan telling Anakin he loved him
Up - The beginning and the scrap book revelation
The Royal Tennenbaums - "I've had a tough year dad"
500 Days of Summer - When he see's Summer is engaged and runs away

There are lots of nearly moments like Life Aquatic, Grave of the Fireflies, Gardenstate and Where The Wild Things Are

The Crucible turned me into an emotional wreck - that was devestating.

The end of Monsters Inc gets me all teary eyed.

Sorry for the double post but i third Toy Story 3... i too grew up knowing them and i am 17 and in college... i could really relate to Andy (yes i know he's a cartoon) but it's about leaving my child hood behind like he does and toy story was part of my childhood!

i cried at saving private ryan but at the start. the bit when the poor man is walking around looking for his arm... being the wimp that i am, i should never have watched the extended version.
Also, edward scissorhands makes me cry. poor johnny just looks so helpless and sad.

The two I can think of that others haven't necessarily said are Big Fish & Dragonheart (I was quite drunk when I watched the latter though).

God knows what watching Toy Story 3 at the cinema's going to be like - I was tearing up reading the storybook to my 3-year-old.

Yeah, that scene really puts across how close mates they are.

I was more thinking the final scene between Shaun and his mum...

I cried after seeing Funny Games US. Still don't know if it was a good film, but it was very disturbing. In the end there's a vacuum you're left in and any hope or redemption is gone. I felt empty.

I also cried with Toy Story 2. The song in the middle, sung by Jessie choked me up. I've heard 3 is even more sentimental so I will bring a bag of tissues when I go see it....

And I cried seeing The Big Lebowski, but everyone can guess those were tears of laughter.

Hi. New here though I've been visiting this site for quite some time. I'll make a formal intro somewhere in the forum, but in regards to this particular thread, there are 2 maybe 3 films that have least Teared Me Up.

Lion King: I'll let you guess which part did it. It has something to do with a falling king.
Titanic: Not really sure which point. Probably the last third when everyone is dying.
???: I'm sure there is a third but can't think of it right now. Just woke up. If it pops up in my head later I'll come back and edit this post.

I know of a third. It's Caveman from the 80's. 1st saw it as a little kid and it terrified me to the point of crying. The only other movie that scared me shitless like that was the original Nightmare on Elm Street (coincidentally I watched a 4 hour documentary about that franchise the other day - nonstop.)

I cry almost every time. It's just so beautiful, makes me sad not being able to live there myself.
