Of course it is!

The Abyss chokes me up as well when they're attempting to revive Lindsey. Ed Harris is just superb in that scene (and the whole film to be honest).

There's that bit in The Abyss where some guy is going always deeper into the abyss and he's slowly texting his ex that he loves her. I don't know why, it is as maudlin as anything in Titanic probably, by God did it make me cry.

I think that's because Ed Harris wasn't in Titanic dude.
