The with the gun being pointed at him is apparently called T-dog....I'm guessing he is going to replace Tyrese...which is a shame. Why give him a "gansta" name?

the other two guys are two new people (brothers) I hope they don't start bringing in too many new people. There are enough in the comics for them to play with

I was watching the comic-con panel on Youtube and Tyrese hasn't been cast yet and will likely not show up in Season 1 so that must be a different character.

cant believe that I didnt notice this thread until now, totally love Frank Darbont's work, I've never actually read the comics of this, but Im still excited about a zombie show. The pics look great and Im looking forward to the trailer, the worldwide simultaneous release is good news.

For those of you who've read the comics without giving too much away can you confirm how much we can expect to see of Sarah Wayne-Callies? I'm assuming that she's a fairly major part in the show.

Zombies, Darabont, Andrew Lincoln and the outstanding (in every way) SWC make this an absolute must see for me.

Well, 'insanely good' is pretty much my reaction to the trailer, so pretty hyped that the full thing measures up. It's a term that TV marketing likes to throw around a bit but very few look genuinely 'cinematic' - this sure does.

Why does the cast look like right off the catwalk?
Are there going to be characters we can actually relate to in a crisis? Or texas model/'actors'?

Andrew Lincoln and Lennie James... Two English Actors in Lead Roles? Interesting. well, I finally saw the trailer and I'm intrigued. Snake-Eyes likes Zombies and with REC 2, THE HORDE, A.D. and THE WALKING DEAD all on the way soon,I'll be a happy Ninja

More than likely. I don't have SKY either (can't be asked with it). I'll just have to wait for R1 dvd.

It's stated which channel it's on and when on the previous page of this thread.

And yes, it looks absolutely brilliant.

Y'know the problem with those credits? When the show is broadcast and they're worse, everyone's gonna be disappointed. They are really good, hope the artist gets some attention because of it.

Well, if you look through AMC's other shows, Mad Men and Rubicon both have full credits, where Breaking Bad just has a title card, so it could go either way.

While I can understand frustration at shows taking months to get here from the US, The Walking Dead airs on FX a mere 5 days after US transmission!

(BTW, the show has full opening credits (with Bear McCreary score), not just a title card.)
