Gervais is hysterical. Loved it.

A disgrace to cinema, just a horrible film, boring, and unfunny. But the most annoying thing is it had so much potential to be funny.

Considering the people involved, I thought this was a complete waste of time. Wasn't a single laugh in the whole film, it says it all when the 'best' bit is a one minute sequence starring Shaun Williamson and Stephen Merchant.

This was beyond awful.
There were no good bits even by accident.
Why would anyone make a film like this?
Pointless,awful and not worth talking about.

Quite a bad film but not without its moments;

"I'm black!"

"I've always wanted a black friend!"

Also, I'd just like to point out that Jen Garner is extremely overrated, looks wise. Her acting's grand

Top 5 worst movie ever.
So bad you shouldn't even think about it.

Truly terrible. Filled with plot holes and very unfunny.

I do not like Ricky Gervais, however after watching this I have to say he has redeemed himself somewhat. I really enjoyed it, a good premise tackled with whit and intelligence. And it also makes a mockery of religion, which I always admire. A Bold film

It doesn't quite follow through on its promise, and relies too heavily on shopworn romantic comedy tropes, but The Invention of Lying is uncommonly sly and funny.
