I still find it hard to believe that this is a Rodriguez flick somehow!

I know. After stuff like El Mariachi, Desperado and the like, it's a very strange set of films to make.

I hated this the first time round, mainly because the child actors are awful. But the second time around, I kind of enjoyed it, as I knew what to expect. Alan Cummings is great in this.

Watched this last night...

Great fun, consistently inventive. I'd avoided this for a while fearing that the kids would irritate me beyond belief, however they were actually quite likeable.

Oh, and George Clooney's cameo at the end? Genius.

4/5

Hey, I know a joke! A squirrel walks up to a tree and says, "I forgot to store acorns for the winter and now I am dead." Ha! It is funny because the squirrel gets dead.

A REAL kids film. One of the best, and with Rodriguez at the helm, it's near faultless

Why, Robert, why? I loved your films! (Well, I actually adore Sin City). But this is the lowest of the low.
